Post harvest trichomes: outdoor grow

This is a two question post.

1-Through my loupe I noticed trichomes wilt a little (are they purely oil based or partially water based) because although still super stick after the flower dries, it not as sticky freshly cut????

2-do trichomes keep their color appearance when the flower is dry????

For the life of my I had a plant with some amber and the rest pearly white trichomes, and although I see the amber still now, the milkiness colors seem to be gone. How come? I use a 60x loupe

It’s my first time growing. Degrades doesn’t mean loses its potency (at least not immediately)????

No....

But a rose wilts, still smells nice, then falls apart

It's the cure that helps retain all the goodererer stuffs in weed

Good cure= good weed
Bad cure= hay
