Possible foxtailing with new light?

Hello haven't been on here in a while, doing a new grow with the electric sky v2 300w led and I'm not sure if the foxtailing I'm getting is because of the strain as I know purple strains are more susceptible to it or because of the light intensity as it's even happening on the lower buds. I have dimmed the light and I haven't seen any signs of recovery in 2 weeks, my buds are growing more calyxes and in odd shapes so I'm wondering do I return it and go back to my previous dual viperspectra 700parr LEDs or if it's just the strain and out of the 12 I have going only these 4 are budding and I have no others to place under and test with.

Hey first time nice looking girls there. What are some of the details of your grow. Temps,rh,etc....
Need a few things to help diagnose any problems.

Temp between 22 and 30 like every grow, 50-55 maximum humidity. I had a fair few good ones and was documenting on here but then stopped documenting and kept growing but this time I changed my lights over from 2 viperspectra part 700s to an electric sky v2 300w and I'm experiencing this but it's also the first time ov grown black lemon haze autos and I have a month left on wether to return the light. Using a 1.5*1.5 room and they get fed every 3 days.

22-30 is a big range. If you have any amount of time at 30 c range with out CO2 it’s high. I had foxtails on some strains until I got temps steady below 28. If you have tried turning down lights intensity I wouldn’t think it’s light.
Does it stay in the 30 range for long. And what do you have for air movement in your room.

Some strain's "fox-tail" not to worry generally heat intensity is the cause of it but sometines with Sativa dominate strains there will be fox tailing in late flower, I f you want you can cut the fox tail off and then you will be "backbudding" which makes the bud fat

Nah not for too long and I have a fan blowing at the tops just under the lights to help with air movement, iv done 10 grows over the last year and never had this issue at all and I have my lights off from 4am to 4pm as we're in the hot season at the moment but another thing that makes me think it's genetics is the lower bud sites are getting it too so it would be odd for light stress + there's no yellow leaves but the top cola is growing like a fist and I'm not a fan of it. I screwed this grow up from the start and I want to get it out of the way to make room for the others I have going at the moment but I feel the buds are not progressing but the calyxes are growing from all sides of the buds as you can see in the photo it's turning into a fist shape and it's not even in the light but they're still progressing. I turned up my extraction fan to help with the heat range + the aircon is on 24/7 right now so it's drawing cool air from the bottom flaps.

If your temps aren’t a problem, you turned down lights so probably not that. That leaves genetics. Some strains/phenos from certain strains just throw foxtails and never harden up. Like safeman said Sativa dom strains have that tendency.

I am pretty sure this is like an experimental strain because nobody else seems to have any diary's on this strain?? I feel like the plants are spending more time growing the foxtails than on actually maturing. I screwed up and had them way too far away from the light at the very start hence why they're twiggy and it's a wasted grow so I'm at week 3 bloom but they're equivalent to like week 9-10 except instead of browning they're growing outwards

It’s heartbreaking either way you go. Pull them and waste all that time or keep going and possibly waste more. If you have time and space it could be a learning experience. Never have enough experience. Don’t know if I been much help sorry.

That's all good it's good to hear other people's thoughts on this. It's an indica strain like not even a hybrid so it might be light intensity or heat or a combination... It's pretty much at the end so no point in wasting it.

You can always learn something from each grow and it never hurts to run to end and keep trying. Unless it’s a male or hermie I try my best right till chop. And always log everything you do no matter how trivial. Next time you run into a similar situation you will have a reference point to start.

I currently have an Afghan in foxtail ”runaway” mode. I dialed the light intensity down a few days ago. Three plants grown under the same light (about 14” away). The Sensi Afghan fox tailed like I’ve never seen before, the tips on the Nirvana Maui (purple leaves) bleached, and the THSeeds bubblegum (single bud) was not phased by anything. Weierd... I’m asking myself all your same questions.
