Possible Calcium toxicity in coco perlite or?

Hello to all, I noticed today one of two plants showing yelowing with sort of burn spots. As much as I can find online, looks like calcium toxicity. Its a coco perlite medium in wich I added grow dry slow realese amendments 5-4-2 and calmag slow realese, I did add some more calmag after 30 days from sprout. Maybe I added too much, but strange thing the other plant doesnt show any signs,it is a different strain so maybe that is the reason.

Happy new year my friend.
What exactly are you feeding?
How often?
Do you get run off every time?
What's your ph?
Your girls are hungry as far as I can see. :Namaste:
Coco needs fed every day with full strength nutrients at 5.8 ph.

Happy new year too my friend 🥳
I fed them with some bio technology fast flower 5-4-2 it is a slow realese fert for "coco"
I put amount as the product recom. And then I added some after 3 weeks of growing, and I added slow realese calmag too,at the start and added some too after 3 weeks from seed to coco. Im waiting for pk flower fert to arrive it should come this week. I sorted it out as a too much light sort of,my 100w full spec. was maybe 10-12 inches from top of canopy, only problem is that fast buds gorilla cookies was even closer to light and it doesnt show any stress,so not sure what is the problem.

The nutrients are not enough to keep her fully fed.
I'd try a liquid nutrient with calmag in the plain water first.
Are you setting your ph to 5.8?
That's important.
Your nutrients will work better when ph is set properly aswell.

That is the other thing Im whaiting for to arrive, digital Ph meter, I tryed using strips but they are not that good. My tap water is 7.0 Ph as from city analyze data. Im airaiting it with air pump, but maybe it is still to high Ph. I have ph minus solution but just waiting for meter. I ordered water dilluted fert but it is just 6-17-15. You think that will do the trick or?

You’re in the right track.
Get your water meter and use your ph down to adjust it to 5.8.
Then feed the bloom nutrient accordingly.
You have to feed every day so you might use more nutrients then originally stated.
You’re doing well though.
Don’t fret.

Thank you, I cant wait for it to arrive, I ordered spider farmer 4 inch fan combo, cause Im at bathroom fan with diy active carbon filter. Im at ghetto diy grow setup. But I am preping a full grow setup that will come soon, my sf1000 evo whaiting, and whaiting for that spider farmer 4 inch combo with smart controller, ordered an oscilating fan for foliage. Want to build a real setup. But this grow it will be an ghetto setup, so it will be great to get to the end of it in some sort od success

You are doing well with the set up you have going.
You should be proud.
new equipment sounds great.
What calmag are you using?

It is also from bio technology in granulate form, slow realese.

Ghetto is the best way to start, it gives you a chance to find out what you REALLY like/want/need vs what other people think you need.
It sure makes sense, not throwing so much money on equip. to realize you dont need it or it is not for you..

I agree with @Bill284 when he mentions that the plants look a bit underfed. Plus the problem on the plant in the first photo looks like it needs a regular Calcium-Magnesium schedule.

Every way I have tried to look up this "bio technology fast flower 5-4-2" all I find are references to Down-To-Earth Bio-Live. Can you show a photo of the bio-technology fast flower product you are using or is it one of the Down To Earth fertilizers.

Most growers have their best results when they add the Cal-Mag product on a regular basis as directed on the package. Which Cal-Mag product do you have? Are you using the recommended schedule as written on the package?

I added grow dry slow realese amendments 5-4-2 and calmag slow realese, Maybe I added too much, but strange thing the other plant doesnt show any signs,it is a different strain so maybe that is the reason.
It is hard to add too much Calcium. It can be done but I do not think that adding some every 3 weeks or so will cause an overdose. Yes, it is possible that the other plant is not showing the same signs if it is a different strain.

This is what I use..
I couldnt find much data on them myself too. I added recommended dose in premixing with coco, and it doesnt say anything about adding any after. But I did add a little so.. not sure if I overdid it

It is hard to find anything on them since search engines are using Bio Technology broadly so the results are including everything from biotechnology for medicines to just basic research on biology.

Just in Spain I see about 50 or more companies related to bio technology and have not yet been able to figure out which ones make plant fertilizers. Then there are other countries and cultures that use Spanish as a native language.

On the back of one of the packages is there an address or a website for the company?

I have the feeling that there is more than just these two products that will be needed. Many growers are feeding once a week to as often as 5 times a week depending on the growing method and type of fertilizer.

What I can figure out and am able to have translated these fertilizers seem to be for houseplants being grown inside or on a patio or balcony. Like you had mentioned there is a lack of information on the company web-site

The problem is that Cannabis is a fast growing plant and that means it has to be a heavy feeder. I think that you will be better off with a fertilizer specifically made for growing Cannabis or for growing an annual plant that grows fast and gets large. This will often mean having to do a feeding once a week. Some people have had success using tomato fertilizers.

You could try looking through these sub-forums in the link below. Pick the continent you are on and see if the country you are in is listed. Then post a question there asking if anyone can help you with finding gardening shops that carry some Cannabis specific fertilizers.

I bought in a store that is mostly oriented on a holy plant 😅 ,, so i believed they gave me the right stuff, but maybe you are right. Maybe they even dont know what they are selling too. I will stick with known stuff now on.. I think the bloom stuff that I ordered is okey.. I will post pic again so you know what I talk about..
