You don't need a 1000 seed to find that special one. Sure it helps but you never know what you have till you pop em. You might get lucky. Grow them all take a cutting and lable em. If you get something you like out if one of em you'll have a cutting

You should clone her with some of the lowest brach. Just take a few cuttings from her remove some of the flowers while leaving the fan leafs and sugar leaf what wiukd be a crime would be not keeping the gene pool active.. i always keep a clone somewhere. Even if i'm late in flowering or i revedge juste fir tgat seed purpose

Yeah, I think you are right. No harm in at least trying to get a clone. I was just figuring that it may be a bit too late in her life for that, unless it is possible to get one this far along back into veg without stressing it out too much.

Anyway, too high on Tardis Lite and a front porch cocktail to bother right now, but will go ahead and take a cutting tomorrow, and unlike Tink's cuttings (probably time to change their water if they haven't rooted yet), I will go ahead and use the rooting hormone, then get her on an 18/6 cycle, at least once I know she has rooted. I am assuming a 24 hour lighting is desirable while waiting for her to root? That is an aspect of this for which I am still a total noob, and am hoping to master eventually.

Actually. Short burst of light us better the full on light 24h a day.. i put a masson har on top of my clone and mist the insude and only remove the jar to mist if there us no condansation on the jar.. try and remove mist flowers by clipping them off ir cutting inside them (they will die iff anyway abd wobt revedge till they are dead ir gone.. this will also limit transpiration.. . Avoid watering the soil. Moist it fairly good (not drench) and leave it almist to dry. Asblong as you see moisture on the glass abd the plant nit wiltering you shoukd nit water.. only mist on surface a few mist to prevent stem rot. There should be no complete watering fir atlast 1 month only moisture. After 1 month it should be rooted well and don't give any nutes till you see knew growth

Alright, well for the time being, I will just pick a branch and get as many cuttings off it as possible, and just keep them wet in a bottle of water until I determine how to proceed. Depending on how many I get, I may try all methods and see which works best for me. One will just be kept in water until it roots, one plunked into a cup of dirt with rooting hormone, and one with what you describe (once my brain translates and pictures it...) :)

So, should I also remove and set aside any actual buds on the branch (and perhaps try to cure them), or will they be needed for revegging? If the former, then I figure no need to let those buds go to waste.

Buds remaining in a cutting will suckout all energy stored inside killing it really fast. Si remove them.. i would take only lower shoots big enough to make a cutning ratter then cutting a whole branch , by doing this he removed ennergy will be canalized toward the top buds resulting in less waste.

More chance of succes this way... Yiu can also use a pill jar pack it with moist dirt and keep leafs from cuttings moist at all time by doming it with a glass jar.. don't bother moisting the soil as you are more then likely going to drown the plant. Let it completly dry off before moisting again. Sincr there are no roots the excess mosture will rot the stems... A starting moist soil is only needed to start the rooting process after this it need moisture and oxygen. Misting the jar glass will keep the humidity level in check. If you see humidity dont spray it will force root making. Technically yiu don't want to remove the dome moisture for atleast two weeks

These clines are sensi star, skywalker og,diesel and granddaddy purple x bruce banner. Skywalker diesel and sensi star were done past 4 weeks of flowering.. i removed all bud like material. No wilt yet..

Last alternative to save a cutting is revedging. It take cautiousness and patience. You flower the plant completely and then during harvest yo remove all the tops and try to leave as many remaing fan leaf and sugar as you can. The plant will be very weak and will need very little waterin. If it drank a gallon a day on harvest week it will need less then a glass of water every few days to much water will drown it has it disent have the power to drink anymore. Veg for a few weeks 18h+ light and new growth (unique blade leaflet will grow. Dont do full watering until complete leaf grow again let soil dry if you aren't sure about water feed.. wait for good growth befire adding nitrogen and do so in very small dose.. some strain are very hard to revedge and cant take months to bounce back.

High Dank! High all! I have a male bubba kush ust flowering. I'm gonna cross it with Afghani at the same time I try my purple punch-Afghani cross.

An Apollo 13 f3 from the same father (3 weeks and 5 days of 12/12 also) .....

Not too bad for a chimp..... :D

While pheno hunting my 24k gold X Chernobyl cross I wanted to show the difference between some of the pheno's. Most have leaf's that look like typical 50/50 hybrids. But few of these are sativa or indica learner's. Here's what I'm talking about

Here's a group shot

Hopefully everyone is having a great day

Gorgeous!

I have three seed projects going and here are shots of two of them. I had one Ultra Dog male from 4 candidates. Ultra Dog #1 has been stranded outdoors in a 2 gallon pot which was pollinated by the male on Aug. 26, 2020. Since this was the only outdoors girl the pollen was chucked in abundance. There probably won't be much smokable bud here but it's all for the benefit of the f4 generation of seeds.

I crossed my Jellium last year with some borrowed pollen from an Alaska Thunder Fuck. The f1 seeds gave me 3 ATF x Jellium candidates and produced 1 male. His jizz was spread to the two ladies also on Aug. 26th and are in the tent producing those seed treasures. I only had one photo from this morning that clearly showed a seed or two so here it is.
