Hey new grower here!, started growing candy cane autoflower fem from cropkingseeds. grew 2 beautiful early miss strains prior to starting this. So iv hit the first/2nd wk of flowering and just now noticing a major deffiency, also starting to notice the leaves seem limpier b4 lights off.. . I actually have not giving any nutrients up Intil yesterday, and it was just the standard 10-15-10 schultz. should I continue with this and see if it improves. as my soil im using seemed to have enough for an autoflower So I errored on the extra side of caution with giving nutrients( bad idea), and i was told not to give to much nutes to autos. but obviously now it needs something. I dont want to lose it now.. hopefully these pictures update as itll be my first attempt.

note: under 6 cflls 6500k lights: 20/4. Temps 72-78F Rh 50%. Soil in 3 gallon pots

So is it a cal mag def. phosphorus. ph fluctuations? as i have not checked the ph as my last grow i had healthy plants using tap water sitting out for 24hrs. problem seems to be getting worse . Im sure im leaving some info out there im new to this. anyways ill get to posting the pics!!!!!!

now im seeing that I do not have the option to upload pictures so i will send a screen shot from gyazo I appreciate if you will click. if I am not allowed to post this link then I appologize as im new here and will hope to find a way that I can to get an answer!!

PLEASE HELP THANK YOU!

happy growing

First off welcome to :420: buds :)

You pick the right place to get information you need :)

Now I will offer you some ideas about the droop, but don't take this as fact, I have never grown autos yet. Most plants will lower there leaves around sunset and perk back up as the sun rises in nature. If your girls leaves are perky all day and just lower close to lights out, I would not be concerned. If on the other hand, they are drooping hours before lights out, then this may be a strain that doesn't do as well with the longer light schedule and you may have to try cutting it back to 18/6 or even 16/8. Not all strain are created equal and have different preferences on lights, feeding, watering, etc.

As for that yellowing, my first thoughts are too much light (too long with the lights on) I have some clones from an outdoor girl that I put under 24hr light to re-veg that get leaves here and there that look the same. The clones that have been moved under my LED at 14.5hr light have stopped shedding leaves like that and greened up :)

Now because I don't have experience with autos, and because what I said above is just based on my own experience, I am going to refer you to 2 threads authored by 2 growers that would have to be considered experts on autos :)

This is the Beast's thread:
Auto Topping LED Grow

And this is ATrain's:
Autoflower Myth Busting Thread

Go visit these guys and talk to them, they know more than I and if anybody can point you in the right direction, its these 2 guys and they are very helpful and generous with their knowledge :)

Hey!!! thanks for welcoming me. and thank you for the reply.

I was also thinking that the drooping a few hours b4 lights out may have to be with the 20/4 as its my first time growing this strain.i may try to dial back to 19/5 then 18/6 and see how it responds. also giving 10-15-10 shultz nutes so hoping that can also help im thinking it could be phosphorus defiency as the stems around the leaves are purpling now.

I will check out those threads thanks for pointing me in the right direction much appreciated!! =)
