Hello,

I want to know where does hydro comes from like is there a seed of hydro I dont know much about growing or anything like that... I have no idea. Another friend told me you have to grow it in water crazy friends. If this question doesnt belong here please delete it.

Oh so when they say I got hydro or blueberry hydro they just mean its grown in a diffrent way? Then why is hydro very expensive?

You got it man Exactly....hydro obviously means water. There is no soil involved at all. Only nutrient enriched water feeds the roots. It's just a little more complicated than normal growing. And it really shouldnt be any more expensive. Probably your dealer trying to sell his product for more$$$ is all.

this is what i have always wondered.......why so much $... it is not like they use high priced equipment here besides matbe a badass lamp......but i have had regular homegrown from soil that would kick any hydros ass......but i guess its because everyone is trying to profit off of plain old drinking water these days look at woodstock.....what a shame!!!

At the clubs here, blueberry is anywhere from 50-65 an 1/8. I don't know what the going rate is everywhere, but that should be a good judge whether your man is ripping you off or not.

Dealers will call the weed they're selling by whatever is currently the most popular/highest price weed.
Any strain can be grown hydroponically, in fact lots of things can be grown hydro, from cucumbers to tomato's.

Why is a pound of hydro around 1000 bucks and a pound of lets say regular blueberry around 200 bucks

The prices at the clubs are for very well manicured bud. Also, the convenience of being able to go to the club, as opposed to hunting it down on the street, and the cost of running a business the price seems fair.

Make sure if you are talking about snow, it's the stuff that hits the ground.

Mr.Blunt: The reason that in south texas and east texas is that we are close to the border here we get a lot of shipments from Mexico, Colomiba, and deep south america. as you go up north the price gets higher cause of the risks of taking it over there

I think Hydro produces alot faster,but as well as so much can go wrong in a day if not checked. Buds may be more expensive due to the grower has to contiously keep the crop in check (ie nutes added ph continously checked ugrade in equipment ect) as well if a crop is lost the grower is basicly starting from scratch.... it all depends on the grower.

I havnt sold any weed or bought any for decades. Its legal (to some extent) for me to grow my own in the state i live. I do have relatives that visit quite often and seam very amazed at the exotics i grow. One cousin told me in Durham, NC he pays 600 a lb./ 80 an oz. for comercial and 200 for an oz. for high grade exotics. last time i bought weed it was 15 an oz for comercial and 25 for sensemillia, lmoa Now its all sensemillia and different flavors too

Triple-G, I think the idea is that nobody here condones drug addiction. All share the common idea that marijuana is not itself in a class of dangerous addictive drugs but a "God given" plant with medical properties.
