Plants are too tall

I have two plants in my tent (one Blue Dream and the other Blue Crack, both photos). They're in their second/third week of flowering; their tallest stalks are about a foot from the light. So far, there's no signs of light damage but the day is still young.

Other threads on this topic are fairly old. Some have suggested HST. Should I do this? Or is there a newer and better idea?

I asked my wife about getting a bigger tent and she hissed at me.

It looks like your exhaust fan is above your light??

If so you can reposition your fan and probably gain another foot of height.

I think that where you are at in flower you can look into supercropping as well. I’ve never done it personally, I just know it’s a thing in late veg/early flower.

ditto on keOncp, supercrop- break some arms to reposition.

I’ve done it, defs not a pro or anything.
You can do it pretty much any time -veg, early flower, late flower
don’t go crazy and snap all arms on the same plant all at once
since it’s in flower I’d do like 4 to 6 colas on same plant today
revisit and snap another 4 -6 tomorrow

You’ll be amazed, they will stand up on broken arm best they can and start catching light asap…

Moving things around, I was able to raise the light about eight inches. Thanks.
