Planters with a water reservoir and an overflow

18 gallon container. 16" tall. Bottom 4.5 is reservoir. ( with air stones ) the dirt is watered once then top is sealed till harvest. Wick system )
I'm considering taking that and miniaturizing it by 1/8 and using established clones. Anybody try it before? 1 per/sq.ft in a scrog sorta setup.
