Plant bleeding, high sugars?

Hi guys . First time I've seen this blood red "bleeding" (seen clear/green sap before) . My understanding of this is that it's just high brix levels resulting in this and the colour is strain dependant ?
Anyone confirm this or educate me on it?
These differance are what really makes me love canna .
Pic below is my own strain showing the traits. Thanks for your help 420mag,

There are Strains that can have that trait. What Strain is it? Do a web search for "Bodhi Seeds Dragonsblood", as he explained where the lineage came from and what not on some sites I can't link here (or copy/paste from it seems).

Thanks mate, just had a little read on that strain, it defiantly seems genetic based then.
Mines a cross of canna tonic and z3. Only one pheno is expressing this triat.

Sounds like it isn't a dominate trait until it is worked with, might want to clone it just in case it's something you like, as you may not see it again with that strain no matter how many you pop (or a one in ten kind of pheno).

Thanks for your insite buddy , helped confirm what I thought. This plant is staying in veg and a few snips will be run out of it.. Couldn't ever throw away anything that interests me .

Even if it was a Male might be worth having to play around with breeding.
