I was doin my morning look over the plants and I found a few fan leave were looking "burnt" so I clipped the worst of them and did the typical task of lookin through the pest & problem guide. My only concern is that my leafs dont really match the description of a typical phosphorus deficiency.

So I thought i should ask around before I start treatment. (side note) Also some of the new leaves are a little light in color, other wise healthy but just overall yellowish, could this be related to the phos. problem ? I assumed its a sulfur problem but I'm waiting to add epsoms salt untill i get a second opinion. :roorrip:

Re: Phosphorus deficiency ?

i had same problem and it was a slight problem on one of the plants it was caused from emptying the bottom of water bucket and there must have been some nurts left in bottom hope that helps GO GREEN

Bump...because I'm seeing this in one of my plants as well. I have five (5) S.A.G.E. plants and one (1) Hindu Kush plant, and it's only happening with the Hindu Kush. They're into their fifth (5th) week of flowering.

My setup:
- Aeroponics in a 2.5 x 2.5 Gro-Lab tent
- (2) 150 watt HPS lamps, about 18" away from the top of the affected Kush
- Nutrients: Medi-One, Hi-Brix molasses, Hygrozyme, and Trichoderma (I think) for the roots
- PH maintained at 5.8; however, it's been jumping to around 7'ish everyday
- EC is maintained between 1.4 and 1.6
- Ambient temperature is in the low 80's. Yes, I know that's a bit warm, but there really isn't much I can do about it. Humidity is in the 60's.
- Reservoir temps are in the upper 70's (again, nothing I can do about it). I drop a few bottles of frozen water in there whenever the temps get extremely warm.

Pics coming soon.

Your temps are too high in the reservoir, which is likely the problem with the pH going up to 7. You need to be in the 65 to 68 range and keep it there. If not, you will have problems like you are seeing now, and they will get worse. the pH bouncing is the symptom, the reservoir temp is the cause.

Would be helpful to know more about your grow. In my sig is a thread on how to ask for help. If you follow that, then better advice can be given.

Right off I'd say your pH is the symptom showing up. The actual cause, I'm not sure without more information.
