The soil im looking to buy is ph 5,8 to 6,5 and ec 1,4 to 1,6 is this good. What should my water with nuts be ph wise if using this soil and what is ec

For soil you want your overall pH to be 6.3-6.5. You may need to add your water/nute solution in at 6.9 or whatever to achieve this. Test the runoff coming out the bottom of the pot to determine what you end pH value is. Adjust what's going in to compensate for what the soil is doing to the solution.

EC is Electrical Conductivity.

Electrical Conductivity (EC) is expressed in siemens per centimeter (s/cm) or milliseimens per centimeter(ms/cm). It can be determined with an inexpensive hand held meter. Nutrient ions have an electrical charge, a whole number, usually a positive or negative 1, 2, or 3. EC is a measurement of all those charges in the solution that conduct electricity. The greater the quantity of nutrient ions in a solution, the more electricity that will be conducted by that solution. A material has a conductance of one siemens if one ampere of electric current can pass through it per volt of electric potential. It is the reciprocal of the ohm, the standard unit of electrical resistance. A siemens is also called a mho (ohm backwards).

See What is the difference between ppm and EC?

For soil ph is most important as long as you follow your nutrient labels and directions.

say you mix up your water and your nutes and the pH is 5.9. when you measure it. this is most likely too low since in "most" cases the soil will lower the ph of what is being added. I pH UP mine to 6.7 before I add it to the soil. I water the soil and collect the runoff water that comes out the bottom in a vinyl saucer. I measure the pH of that water. If its 6.3-6.5 I'm done with that pot. If its out of that range say its 6.0, I increase the pH of the nutrient solution to 7.0 then water my soil again collecting the runoff in a fresh vinyl saucer. I measure the runoff again and now its 6.2. Almost there. I up the solution to 7.1 and repeat previous steps. I do this until my runoff is 6.3 -6.5. Anything outside of this range you will lock out nutrients and your plants will suffer.

Ok i think i got it but u dont do this in a pot with a plant in it only the soil u are going to use in the pot and once u figure out the ph thats right in the water tank u can water all the pots with plants in it since its the same kinda of soil

It should be roughly the same but I test the runoff every couple of weeks to see if I need to adjust the nutrient/ water pH. I usually test the runoff of each pot at that time since its easy enough. They all sit in their own saucers on risers. As the materials in the soil break down the pH fluctuates. So what you start with in the early grow wont be the same as late grow.
