ph question

Hi everyone!

I'm new here, on my second grow. I'm using fox farms coco loco for my medium this time. It has soil elements mixed in with the coco. Should I use the hydro ph @ 5.8 or soil at 6.5? I'm a little confused. The soil looks great. It retains its moisture kinda long though. Any thoughts?

I just looked it up on FF's web site and they say nothing about there being any soil elements nor the recommended PH. I have emailed FF in the past and they were quick to respond with my answers.

Thanks, I'll give them a shot.

On the bag it said it had coco coir, perlite, worm poop, bat poop, composted forest humus, dolomite lime for pH balance, etc. It's definitely a coco-based complete potting mix and not just coco.
