PH, I don't get it

Hi there, I always seem to have trouble with PHing my water.

I use 1 gallon distilled water plastic jugs


My water source is a shower hose part of a shower head, I put it into a 5 gallon watercooler and it let it sit for about 24 hours.

My medium is hempy buckets so I water every night. I'm currently growing two unknown strains..

Their leafs are yellowing, some with redding of the stems,
some are crisping and turning brown and drying up

they are currently in week 4 1/2 of flowering

i try to ph between 5.5 and 6.1

Well i know that leaves yellowing in flower is normal also if the room is on the cooler side the stems will start to change to a dark red or even purple but i dont know about the leafs drieing up and crisping

Leaves do yellow in bloom, but mostly older leaves or really shaded out leaves. Most of them should stay nice and green until the end, IMO. Can you get a picture? Is it the lower leaves first or the upper? What part of the leaf yellows first?

I pH to between 6.1 and 6.3 myself, but that's dependent on the medium too and I don't know what's a right pH in hempy.
