MORPHOLOGY​

Sativa-dominant hybrid with long, thin leaves. Bud structure is tight; creating dense nuggets of resin-encrusted calyxes reeking of over-ripe tropical fruit, especially grapefruit, and gummy bears.

HOW DOES IT SMOKE?​

The aroma is citrus-fruity, with a sweet cotton candy taste when you exhale. The high is uplifting and cerebral.

GROWING NOTES​

We recommend growing Apollo XX in its natural, dominant cola shape and using stakes or cages to support the branches. Super-crop (pinch) the stalk, or top the plants just below the main cola, to encourage side branches to catch up, and voila – you have a multi-headed bush.

YIELD​

A typical indoor plant yields 4-8 dry ounces per plant. Grown outdoors, a typical plant will triple the indoor yield.

Hey S.61, how long is the flowering on your Durban Poison? I know most Sativas have a long flowering time and are less likely to finish before colder weather sets in. Never mind I just read the rest of your thread. lol ( edited) CL

When i first started planning my Brothers grimm Grow I planed on using the Geo Flora with FFOF and try a new AC infinity SIP I started to talking to Em about Organic soil and super soil .I found out quickly that there is a lot more to organic than it saying Organic on the bottle and using Dynomyco and Geo Flora does not a organic super soil make I learned from @Keffka I soon learned all about Sub cools recipe and lots of other recipes .I got excited about organics and at the same time figured out if you have a decent mix you will grow better pot at a much lower cost. then I talked to @Nunyabiz Now he is a hardcore supersoil bio- dome guru I swear he is so organic I bet he has snakes and live rabbits in his planter pots he is hard core after talking to those 3 people I was convinced the best pot comes from experience and mother nature and s

uper soil is very close to mother nature. So I tried a Pre-mix super soil water only/ and here is my medium

when I first started growing I got those Durban Poison seeds I was like halfway thru my 2nd grow (I didn't realize I knew nothing yet) I figured it would be cool to grow a landrace strain kinda Back to the Roots thing, could you imagine a noob with a 4x4 tent and 4 Durban poison plants . I would have pics showing where the colas ripped thru the top of my tent, lucky for me Bill and one of the 420 admin schooled me a bit and informed me about the monster I would have created. April till October should produce some nice bud, this is the FIRST LEGAL OUTDOORS GROW I have a 30 gal pot full of used FF ocean forest and a few amendments to make a nice final resting place

MEDIUM - PURPLE COW INDICANJA Living soil
you would think with a name like INDICANJA that everyone would know about the purple cows venture into the cannabis market. Purple cow was around before weed was starting to become legal. their market consist of large agriculture projects and farming in general. They Purchased the formula from a Farmer/grower in the Michigan upper peninsula. I was lucky enough to meet Robert and after talking with him I feel very good about trying Indicanja for this grow this is the same formula that he has used for 30 yrs of growing weed experience. the best part is if I have any issues he is a phone call away. so I can honestly say I didnt buy a bag of soil I feel I paid for the customer service and the word of a person I trust (Rob ) Robert is the maker of Indicanja and apparently it took some time but Purple cow was finally able to purchase his recipe. Wanting to try a true Organic grow I decided to go this route. I look at it this way I may have stumbled onto something really good or I bought a bag of dirt. either way, all Im trying to do is grow a weed

the entire Program consist of the soil and the only other thing they recommend is there CX-1 and thier Supercharger (compost Tea} the Only things I plan on adding to the mix is SNS 209, and the CX-1 every 10 days other than that I will require no nutes Just Roots (I like that I hereby coin that saying " No Nutes, Just Root's " T-shirts for sale lol) Ill do more on what I add when im ready to fill my Bags

One more thing that Im doing diffrent is My new set of AC Infinity SIPs . I have heard nothing but positive thoughts about using SIPs . I had planned on using a SIP way before I decided to change my entire grow plan. it is just coincidence that Super Soil and a SIP work amazingly well together.
Not to mention I will be able to keep the top soil mostly dry, and will help prevent overwatering.

Conclusion

I didnt plan on a lot of the things Im doing on this grow I am frustrated that my last grow wasn't what it could have been. I made a lot of mistakes when it came to dealing with the Gnats. But I cant blame the Gnats they were just part of the problem. I did more damage trying to get rid of them , than they would have ever done. I am not sure If I caused the problems when I flushed it with H2002 3 times in 1 day or all the SNS209 rinses in truth I plain out over watered wether I was actully watering or not I was constantly keeping my soil soaked and allowing the Gnats to thrive this lowered the immunities of the plants making them weak and open for any deficiency. which I at the least had a Nitrogen issue, I may have prevented if I added more Cal-Mag when I went to flower. Temps were a bit wonky at first due to the new tent and light but They are dialed in now. even with all my issues the plants produced some nice smoke, well it is going to be it is still in the tent day 5 60/60 the entire time. any way all the changes I made shouldnt really cause me any problems and offers the potential of being my best grow ever my Genetics are from the #1 rated breeders in the world Brothers Grimm Seeds and Mr soul the creator of Cinderella99 in Kahoots with other legends of the cannabis world. I have Plenty of light , easy to control environment, a overwatering safety, no nutes to worry about. it is gonna be pretty hard for even me to FEK things up.

Ok, with all that said it is time to start growing remember "NO NUTES, JUST ROOTS"

Harvest update: 4/1/23 day 6

I use 2 different GOVEE Hygrometers Both bluetooth and wifi so I can check my RH and Temps where ever I am along with alarms for bad conditions after everything settled my RH was high but expected if it was lower I would worry from the 27th till yesterday I was staying within a few degrees of 60/60

then lastnight a front moved in and we got hammered with rain and the Humidity went crazy

so I raised the temp about 3 degrees, I just turned it back down to 60and the RH is in the high 60's

I use a Moisture meter (wood) to test my weed for drying conditions if you are familar with this method, you already know that 11% is the Idea moisture level to start curing After they were hung I waited and in a few hours i checked the rh of the buds it was right around 34% right now they are ranging beteen 23% to 17 %. with this being a Sativia I can see it will be a drawn out harvest I will buck the golf ball size buds ,Im guessing in another 2-3 days and the rest a day or two afterwards. tomorrow will be 1 week and will come close to achieving 60/60/10**


** if you wonder what I mean by 60/60/10 it is suppose to be the ideal drying time for us home growers 60F degrees/60%relative Humidity/10 days now there are many diffrent methods this isnt the one for everbody to use but it has worked great for me. a lot of experienced growers go by the break a twig method. That has never worked for me every time I wait till a twig snaps the buds are way to dry and end up smelling like alfalfa useing the moisture meter has really raised the quality of my buds. one of the best $20 deals I ever got.

I did luck out though last night I started to germinate one to grow outside So it might help me stay on track. I might go ahead and start a grape ape outside and grab 4 clones for my next grow all kinds of options opened up with the ability to start
using that big grow light in the sky

well I look at it this way we can legally grow 4 plants 5 to 10 plants is a $250 civil fine so my plan is well it is illegal so I wont do it. But if I felt civil unrest I would grow my 4 in my tent and 1 in my small tent BUT I would grow a Durban poison I been saving just for that since i couldnt send them to a buddy up north, Now my next grow is going to feature Anesia seeds I have a few sleepy Joe, frozen Black cherry (possibly highest thc content in the world 36%)in about a weerk or 2 I would plant them outside and about 3-4 weeks prior to harvest I would grab clones and cut 4-5 weeks off my grow time but thats against the law. do I seem like the kind of guy who would break the law and grow more weed than the lousy 4 plants PER HOUSEHOLD that wont cover my family's weed need from harvest to harvest.
outside or in side only 4 per household I already have 5 might as well a couple outside law is I can grow anywhere out of view from the public and all my neighbors have a privacy fence ,if I could I would plow up my back yard

actually what happen was I was high (surprise) and I thought to myself I had such a bad grow because I rushed tried to make things happen beyond my control so I felt for this grow take it slow the last grow I didn't even name my girls and rarley had a good talk, So I named her Rapunzel ( brothers Grimm theme) well Rapunzel whipped her head around and her 37lbs of hair made the cup fall out my hand and it fell and crushed the livin out of her and instantly she , Snow white was a white and green spot on the soil .

Well it is over I OFFICIALLY call the first chapter of my perpetual journal complete my Super Sativa Seed Club grow done i9n the jars and will be smokable in a few weeks Im already ranging between 58% to 63% but as they cure the buds will get even tighter and increase potency and smell/taste. all around better weed

The key now is to make this next grow the right way Just shy of 8 oz of good tight bud and about 2oz of larf and shake covered in trichomes what a cookie mix. Milk and Cookies any one? (STD sour tangie dawg PDF Purple Dawn Fire)

as if I didnt fek up enough Last night while moving them to the big tent I SUPERCROPPED MY "APOLLO XX "SEEDLING START!!!! I expected it would be dead today but it came back after I propped it up with loose soil and it was standing tall this morning
