PALM SPRINGS, CA - The Palm Springs City Council voted Wednesday night in favor of easing restrictions and handing out two medicinal marijuana co-op permits.
The two winning applicants were CannaHelp which plans to operate on 500 block of East Industrial Blvd and Desert Organic Solutions which plans to operate North of Interstate 10 off of Indian Avenue.
City Council members stressed the two applicants will need to grow the medicinal marijuana medicine on-site and should be able to provide the medicine to a large amount of patients.
No word on when the two will be open.
They both must ratify its bylaws to meet California law.
Long Beach City Council members early Wednesday morning created a city ordinance similar to Palm Springs.
