Meadville - Supporters of a proposed state legislation to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana will rally in Diamond Park on Saturday.
The 2 to 9 p.m. event will include speakers and live entertainment.
Speakers will include Patrick Nightingale, of Pittsburgh chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, and Christy Billett, of Pennsylvanians for Safe Access, which advocates access to safe marijuana for medical uses.
Entertainment will be by All Facts Considered and several solo artists. The rally is in support of House Bill 2076, which would make the possession of small amounts of marijuana a summary offense punishable by a $100 fine, with no misdemeanor charge or loss of driver's license.
