Overfertilized...Now What?

Hi. Am new and usually just read threads but have an issue.

Strain: Sweet Haze
Indoor, soil
1oz/gal of liquid bloom stuff

Overfertilized one plant--2oz/gal of liquid bloom stuff. Flushed her when leaves started to brown, curl and die. Gave her 7 days to recover. Sadly, she never did. Cut her down today and here's what she looks like.

Not interested in putting her in a pipe when dry. The leaf is all browned, the buds are not fully formed. There's a bit of sparkle to her and would hate to waste it.

Would this material be acceptable to dry sift and make hash? Or would this material be good for making a tincture?

What do you do with plant material that is not suitable for smoking??

you could try making butter, or hash, or oil,,,

I have never made had or oil, there is a bunch of threads here or a tincture...

how much is there,, and how far into flower was it?

If that's the whole thing your aren't going to get much from it. I think with that amount butter would be the preferred method.

There's about 40grams. It's almost dry. May loose another 5-10 grams. So, maybe 35-30g? She was around 30 days when she got too many nutes. She was ar0und 37 days when cut.

Have been reasearching herb tinctures. Seems simple enough. Will research MJ tinctures (specifically). Got a link for me, Zen?

Figure with this 'mistake' and some trim from other ladies, could grind it all up and throw it in a jar with some 100 proof vodka, set it and forget it and in a month or so have some liquid tonic for morning coffee!

It's all theory now.

Have yet to make the cannabutter. May have to research that as well. Though I don't use my stove for much more than storage...

Soil is forgiving! It can only help buffer so much abuse.

Taking a vacation to visit the 'rents. Driving thru a state that sells Everclear 190 proof. Gonna pick some up and make a tincture. Found some good instructions. Will report back in a few weeks.

everclear,,, brings back memories,, (well sick memories.. lol)
when I was younger, we made stuff called PJ, tons of soda/juice, like 3 bottles (2litre) mtn dew, 3 cans hawian punch, and some other stuff, tons of fruit, could not taste the booze,,, but man, you got f'd up, and I was sick as a dog the next day (more than once..lol),,

hey man i dunno but i might even look like your plants may have had some bud mold (Botrytis) for how brown and crumbly it looks and would also explain why it didnt recover with a flush and continued to spread..... just a thought not a 100% sure

My daddy picked me up a bottle of Everclear the morning I was to leave. Ground trim and moldy bud to fine powder. Placed powder in 5 oz bottle and filled with Everclear. Shook daily and placed in brown paper bag to keep light out.

Read about cold water extraction of trics and placed tincture in fridge for 2 days. Went to see friend with double boiler. Evaporated most of alcohol as tincture burned when used straight from jar. (Honestly, can't believe they sell Everclear for consumption! Cleaning tools...maybe.)

Used shot glasses half full with water and then added five drops of tincture.

We giggled for about an hour.

Success, yo!

Have also discovered that tincture can be useful sleep aid in higher doses.
