ibelieve i am over watering my new plants..from seed to have cloned 4 of my mothers,,,they display yellowing on the fan leaf..i thought i was over fertelizing. what is the rule of thumb when it comes to watering in soil...i used to many years ago grow in water which has its own set of rules....im getting back into this and need guidence...

water when the pots are dry and feel light. depending on the size of the plants and the size of the pots this might only be once a week. bigger plants in smaller pots of course will need water more often.

Pictures are very helpful but i believe that yellowing leaves can be a sign of a nitrogen deficiency.
