Outside tents?

Just curious how many people have tried growing in a tent kept outside? No lights, just sunshine. What was your setup & results?

Lets say a 8x12 ft 6ft high dome. Most tents are thin light color. Light passes through them pretty easy. Some even have mesh screen center if a dome. Also windows that unzip & have mesh screen. I've noticed some greenhouses don't have clear but frosted coverings that's similar.

Ok. I seen some other tent post. But nothing like I had imagined they would be. Guess my only concern is getting enough direct sunlight for the life cycle of a plant. I know when camping there is plenty of light inside a tent to see during the day. Just not sure if scattered sunlight would be ok. Would also depend on location & the amount of traffic that sees it.

Yes, there are absolutely tons of "tent" grows. But it's a grow tent, not a camping tent. Totally different kind of tent. I don't think a camping tent would allow enough light to pass to grow a worthwhile plant. Now if it had a mesh ceiling and windows you might have something.
