outdoor grow

Depends on what you mean by "not too cold". MJ can handel cooler temps, but it grows very slowly, and I don't think it could sustain them for long. I think a bigger obsticle would be trying to hide a flowering plant that time of the year. There probably wont be much else green around.

VERY smart move. Try to educate yourself on outdoor growing as much as you can between now and then. If you live down south, you could germinate your seeds inside as early as March and have HUGE outdoor plants.

thats the plan the summer months are very warm and bright i also will use this time to decide my method... out in the country or up in the trees!

Your plants will be hard to tend to "up in trees". Ranger Danger has a great thread on gerilla growing in the outdoor growing section, but if you plan to grow them on your own place, check out NoDirtWeed or Droppony's grow journals. NDW's is in the outdoor grow section too.

What matters more than temps are light cycles.
Spring--days getting longer--great for veg.
Summer--days longest--vegging like crazy.
Fall--days getting shorter--budding starts.

I don't recommend growing in tree's.
First of all you have to build platforms that will support al least 20 pounds each (moist soil/plant). Then you have to remove branches so sunlight can get to your plants. Then you need pulley's/rope which stand out like as sore thumb.
Much better imo is to find a remote spot in the woods and plant in containers or in the ground.
Or move to NorCal and grow in your backyard, like me

I Would Take This Time To Experiment And Plant Like 2 Plants...my Buddies Plant Was Huge Here In Florida..it Was Outdoors And There Were Big Trees Covering It...i Grew For 6 Months...i Dont Know Wether It Was Over Winter But The Thing Was Like 4 Feet Wide Budded And 6 Feet Tall...highest Mid Grade Out Here....plants Outside Get Huge...
