Outdoor grow

I m going to be growing outdoors near Redding, I have a sprinkler system and I an going to install a drip system to my plants, the system is set up for 20 minutes a night for 4 nights a week, my question is how much water should I set the drip for? And should it be on every night?

I think itll depend on how hot/cold its gonna get. In general they should be watered when the soil gets dry. U might jus have to do some trial n error set ups.
