Outdoor, first time grow - unsure of sex

Hi, I'm new to growing but have been reading a lot. I've been waiting about a week since I spotted these and wanted to make sure. Unsure of the strain but have been growing it outdoors. Any help would be great appreciated. Thanks

These are called Stipules. Both male and female cannabis plants have them. What you are looking for are the white pistils that appear near them once flowering begins, thats the only way to know if the plant is female. Males grow small pollen sacks near the stipules instead of pistils.

Give the plants some more time and you will see the sex eventually. Remember the plants need 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness to induce flowering, unless you have an autoflower strain

Thanks Tardi, I really appreciate it! I'm growing another next to it and have seen the female white hairs come out so it got me worried. I'll give it some more time and check daily.
