Main difference for outdoor is harvest time. You want strain that will finish before fall rains and cold. What are you thinking of growing?

in this case, autos may be a good option. they usually harvest at 2.5 to 3 months. Also, if you happen to be in an area where growing is not legal, you should be able to chop autos before any risk of thermal fly overs
