Our New Adventure 2010

Well the clones are 8 days old and show no signs of roots yet. They all are green and look very healthy though so that's a good sign. Other than that there's not much else to say.. I think they all will make it..{hopefully}

There's no change in the way they look so there's no need to post more photos.. They look the same as 3 days ago..

Dont drink anymore..however i'm sending a pictcher of a local microbrew is for you..

this is just an added thought. Keep in mind to back off the misting once the roots started to show. You can cut down, cause they wont be feeding as much via stomata. They'll be focusing more on feding via roots. But we know you got it all handled.

Ok thanks Butcher, I'll keep that in mind for when they start to root.

Good looking out bro!!

So I went in to check out the little ones and about 4 out of the 10 have roots started. I plan to transplanting the ones that have rooted on Monday, give them enough time to form a very healthy rootball. I want to give the others time to root as well!!

I am very happy rite now!!:cheertwo:

I might take a photo or two tonight or tomorrow to show the roots off. That's if anybody want to see them...

That is great bro!!! :bravo: Sure I enjoy our plant in all it's stages. It is fascinating to me. I am happy for you guys.

:peace: brother.

Well here is a blury photo but you can still see the roots started..

I'm really excited to see all of 10 of these ladies grow and bud. I can only imagine how it's gonna smell in there with all or most of these clones flowering at the same time.:cheertwo:

lookin good! I just started some clones- tryin to mimic whatever you're doin cause it looks right! put them in the cloning tray last night and been mistin the shit out of em hoping they hang in there. been 24 hours now, they're still alive? LOL seein your guys rooting now has me feelin a bit more encouraged :o)

I hope your clones root for ya. Did you use any rooting gel? I used clonex, it worked good for me. Personally I would mist them about 4 times a day. Keep the dome on 24/7 for a good 8 days and then start to introduce fresh air about an hour a day or so. {split up in to about two 30 minute periods}.

I hope they all root for ya LeenieBean!!!!!

Always good to hear from ya sweety!!!

Well about 75% percent of our baby clones have roots formed and exposed outside of those root riot plugs. Time to transplant, wow that was fast only about 10 days. Now their new home is in 16 oz cups and I plan on keeping them there for about 2 or 3 weeks. I dont plan on growing real big plants, because of my limited space. I got a couple weeks to figure out what to do.

I'm gonna find 2 gallon buckets or less because I dont want their height to become an issue. Yes I plan to lst them but 3 gallon buckets are just to big for our space, with as many clones as I want to flower this time around. I might have to rethink how I plan to flower them.

I'm done ranting... here are a couple photos, sorry that they are blury. You still get the point though...

Yes I plan to keep the dome on them for atleast another week. I plan to open the vent so they can breath though. They dont need to have be 100% humid no more but I'm not sure.

Well that's the update for today!!

amazing how soon those little pieces of green are going to be big trees with buds all over them! I'm still in awe of watching these guys grow and I've not even watched them flower yet. new addicting hobby for sure! Hope mine turn out like yours!

mini kids are still hangin in there. hilarious laying in there in front of the cab literally watching them to see if they have signs of life. so far... nothin. not browning or shrivelled. Think next time I might try cloning in soil instead too- the rockwool is not quite as suited to it as it was to germinating. BUT its time to repot the seedlings just about, roots are coming out the bottom of the pots now :o) almost time for flowerin cab move!!

Well congrats Leeniebean I'm glad your youngins are pulling through. I love to watch them grow as well but they don't grow any faster if you sit and stare.... I have never used rockwool but root riot plugs worked very well for us to clone with. I'll have to check out your journal here soon to get caught up with what's going on.

I'm sure your ladies will look just as good if not better than ours do...

Best of luck to ya!!

MI...looking good. Congrats on the clones. We are looking forward to cloning here soon as soon as our babes start showing their "giblets."

Best of luck to ya my friend, I'll be rooting for ya!!

I'm really suprized that all 10 have survived so far, I must have done something right...:ganjamon: They look so small and innocent right now but give them just a few weeks they'll be big and strong...

Good to hear from you hypo hippy

Hey MI....what part of your plant did you take your cuttings from? You may have said it earlier, but if you did I missed it. As soon as ours start showing their bidness we will take some cuttings to start our cloning operations. Once again, nicely done.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your question hypo hippy, Well to let you know we preformed lst (low stress training) to her four weeks or so before we even cut clones. That created alot more branches so we cloned most of the inner branches as well as her main top. When you make your cuts you cut them at a 45 degree angle and place them in your rooting solution then in what ever you choose to use. (soil, plugs, rockwool or a cloner) Mist them with some water and place a humidy dome over them. With-in one to two weeks you should have roots sprouted. It was really easy for the most part and so far all ten of ours have survived.

Best of luck when you do attempt to clone

Well I got some real good news today guys. All ten yes that's all 10 clones have survived and started to get new growth.:yahoo: Now I'm really excited because we will have a real good harvest over the next few months. They are looking very healthy, like two have a little yellow on the just one leaf. I think those we're the ones that did not have roots formed when I transplanted them or it might be the nutes {in the MG soil} in the cups. Other than that they all look very strong so I'm not worried at all.

I'm thinking I will start them on nutes later today, Just a light dose for the first time.

Will try to get some photos of them today as well. One of our little ladies has two main branches, a V growing from the ground up. She is gonna be a monster when she gets bigger. I love the way she looks well I love the way all of them look but this one really is unique.
