Four bills will change marijuana business throughout the state. Two of the bills have already been signed by Oregon Governor Kate Brown, the other two remain on her desk for approval.

In one of the bills already approved, the price of the annual medical marijuana card will be dropped from $200 to $20.
A veteran from Klamath Falls, Robert Dudley, said, "Twenty dollars is amazing, when I heard it went down that much, I was just like wow."

Dispensaries, like Rogue Valley Cannabis, feel this new bill is a step in the right direction. They are the closest location to obtain marijuana to the Veteran's Office in White City, so they are always looking for ways to help local veterans. They even offer 10% off of any veteran's purchase who has their I.D. card on them.

This is just one part of the bills, but veterans, like Dudley, are excited for the change. "I think it's just another good sign that the state is showing love for the veterans as far as just taking away a certain thing that other people have to pay for," Dudley said.
