Jim Finnel
Fallen Cannabis Warrior & Ex News Moderator
Start: 2007/10/01 - 9:00am
End: 2007/10/20 - 11:59pm
This October, Mothers Against Misuse and Abuse (MAMA) will mark 25 years dedicated to reducing the harm from drug use with an award winning program based on personal responsibility and informed decision-making, with respect for human dignity.
MAMA will mark this occasion with a 3-week tour of Oregon, making public presentations and meeting with the media, groups and interested individuals. The tour will conclude with a daylong conference and dinner in Portland on Saturday, October 20th.
Tour members will include Sandee Burbank, a founder and Executive Director of MAMA. She will be discussing the illogical, draconian drug policy that threatens our families’ health and well-being and how it can be improved.
Accompanying Ms. Burbank are patients registered in the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program, eager to discuss why they and 17,000 other Oregonians have turned to medical marijuana for relief from their qualifying medical conditions.
