Opposite vs. Alternate

When will the central nodes on my mothers start growing opposite, I have had them vegging for a month and a half. But the side branches still growing alternate, I thought eventually they would stop.
I have already started the cloning so this is more just curiosity. 21 clones off one plant, and I have 11 more to go.

Don't look for it.

Alternate is a sign of sexual maturity and a good thing.

Seedlings and young plants usually do opposite and go to alternate when mature.
