Opinion on Air Conditioners

Oh my god... my grow room is sooo hot
I have taken over my spare room. have veg & flowering set up there... i have been fighting with the temprature problem since we got here (day or night it never goes under 75 but goes to excess of 90) that is only with the florecents going.... I now need to get them flowering..... It's gonna be a night mare.
I have now seen an Air Conditioner for £40 and thought it might be a good investment...
Is there any reason this might hurt my little girls....

I have a small closet grow with a 430watt Son-agro HPS, my temps get up to 90-95+ and have never had a problem.
My resivoir tends to evaporate pretty quick so keep an eye on that.
Remember wild MJ's natural habitat is closest to the equator where its hot.

dont let your ladies get to close to the lights and keep that resivoir topped and you should be ok.

Yes but for your best product you want it to be in high 70s low 80's a airconditionner will do great and help alot that's what i use when it come summer time...

Just don't let the air blow directly on the plant and a A/C will be fine to use.

I think you will be better off using a system that ventillates the hot air while not cooling it. Maybe an exhaust fan with ducts if it could fit into your room. This way you are not making it too cold, just allowing the hot air that usually builds up to be vented out. Also, you would be saving money on power because running a fan is cheaper than running an air conditioner anyday.

i have been trying that.. but the stronger venting fan is just too noisy... the neighbours are very close... no bugger knows what is going on in there...
