Do you need to order bluberry seeds or can you add bluberry flavoring during veg? I heard that from somewhere.:allgood:

Blueberry is a strain

i think blueberry is the best weed i ever smoked, not the strongest or anything, but just the overall smoke, it was so smooth and tasty...... if you are doing hydro you could add the flavoring, but it wouldnt be anything like the strain and i think only doushebags do that-even though i did enjoy a watermelon flavoured hydro one time.

ya and ask around about how to make that strain

im not sure what you are saying, do you want a blueberry strain or just blueberry flavored bud? if you want the strain you will have to order seeds. if you wavt flavor you can hydrate your bud in a jar. to do this you will put your bud in a jar. then put a sheet of foil over the top of the jar and poke a few little holes in it then put some fruit like blueberrys, strawberrys, etc. in the foil and then put some saran wrap over the top and let it sit for about 12 to 24 hours (until the fruit starts to go bad). then your bud will be nice and sticky and taste really good.

scorpadahoodlum BLUEBERRY is a STRAIN NOT a FLAVOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a strain just like G13, or White Widow or White Rhino, or Mango, or Northern Lights... You can't get a "Northern Lights" flavour.... It's all about genetics

Yeah , plants only take what they need ,adding oils and crap to the soil or water will not flavor your plants , this a myth that constantly pops up , but chemically it will not happen

I've done orange and vanilla extract on a couple occasions. Yes it does work. You just put it in the res about an hour before harvest and it will suck it up.

I've read about that some where NDW4M. Is there a guide or write up on the procedure or theory you could point us to?

LMFAO ,Try a little research on ION CATION EXCHANGE.This will explain to you ,chemically ,exactly how plants actually recieve nutrients through root systems and also will clear up some misconceptions about flavoring your plants with extracts and oils.Plants will not just eat anything that you force on them.PEOPLES!!!!If this were true , don't you think every Harry , Dick and Jane would be giving us everything from Guiness flavored g-13 to rooty tooty frooty bud.Please...6 Years sneaking into classes on plant sciences , botany and horticulture at Penn State dispelled this myth for me , hopefully it will do the same for you.If you want to waste your time and money , go ahead....

its been awhile since i was in biology, but ive had flavoured hydro before, so it is possible. also, u can put flowers in coloured water and they will soak up that colour- so if it isnt possible then how does that happen?...the flavours wont make weed any danker or taste like a real strain. i would like a guiness g13, or a g13 guiness. i dont know much about brewing, could you make cannabeer? that would be the shit.

I see what you're sayin'. But I think people are more so talkin' about ways to give your smoke a particular flavor or scent, not so much any genetic or chemical altering that causes the plant itself to change into something it wasnt originally. Like lining a blunt with honey. True: it's not really a "honey blunt" and the herb doesnt absorb it chemically....But thats not to say that it doesn't present some noticable effect on the smoke.

Well sure if you cut open a stem , capillary action will draw up dyed water , but if you put the plant , roots and all ,into the same water , you will not get the same result ,check it bro

I once wasted my money on a product at a hydro shop. You added it during the flush and it was supposed to make your weed taste like cherry or banana oir whatever I bought pina coloada flavor.
Later, when we smoked the bud, the people who I told I added pina colada flavorin said they could taste it, people who weren't told about it didn't taste anything different.
Hydro shops no longer carry that stuff CAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.
It's amazing that people think that if you for instance ground up a cheeseburger and add it to water to feed your plants, that the buds would taste like a Big Mac.
Here's my take: If you want to smoke weed and want a let's say chocolate flavor, take a hit and eat a piece of chocolate.

what about those sugary carbs mentioned in High Times August issue, such as botanicare's sweet or the raw dark sugar Sucanat? Have you experimented with either of those? They're not supposed to make the plant taste like any particular fruit or anything, but help accentuate or enhance the plants smell and taste, often with a sweet undertone. I thought about checkin' one or both out in the future, but if some experienced growers are sayin' they dont work, I might reconsider, but I saw Sweet at the hydroshop where I got my hps.
