Oh I forgot to mention the story. I am so glad you are continuing. I am having a hard time writing about Millington. I think I will do a Jandre on it and be done with it, well maybe close Do you cut and paste into your blog? I got spanked for doing something a while back and stopped doing anything in it.

Hi Buckshot. The story is getting ever closer to being over........that is as far as the military goes. Well, it will be over when they retire me, which is coming after a bunch of harassment and sickness.

To tell the truth about my blog. I had trouble doing it in the first place, so what I did was wait until I had enough to tell one part of the story and then posted it in one big page. There are 4 pages now, when I finish the story I will add all the parts to one page again. Making corrections is beyond me.

When I move fast...instead of taking it slow....I really have trouble breathing. If I move slowly I can do the usual things. Slow and easy for the rest of my days.......fine with me if I can have more days.

That's your guilt about not FIMing.....not me Brother! You know you should, but don't. Me too, I blew it in the first part of this journal.

Sounds like the old adage "slow down and smell the roses" will work for you. I`ve tried "fimming" several times and failed. So I end up just topping them several times. Just can`t seem to get the cut right. The old eyes just aren`t what they used to be.
Thanks for the pictorial. It might just be what the doctor ordered.

A little help Brother OMM ....After much consideration I am using Osmacote for my nutes I couldn't get Os. + so in the veg I am using indoor outdoor 16 - 6 - 12 .and am very happy with the results when I switch to flower I will sprinkle just a little Os. for roses or something like that, but it is high in phosphorus ..14 - 14 - 14 with REPS to one of the Smokes (Smokeum or Smoke 2) sorry I don't remember which!..... BUT the question : Is this why at harvest you chop and put into a bucket of clean water as a flushing technique for 3 or so days in the dark ? Anyone please jump in with your experience.

clay I have read a bout water curing. I dont think you want to do that for a flush. rather if you want to flush your grow when its time a wicking flush is more like what you are thinking. which is almost the same except you dont submerge the buds at all but you stick the plant in plain water like a cut flower in a vase. think of the carnations they sell that have been soaking in colored water so the petals get that color what ever it is on the tips of the flower it self. after a few days of it sucking clean water up the stem should replicate a normal flush with non time release nutes. just change the water everyday for about a week. also don't think you want to use any rose food unless it is also good for veggies that you would eat. you picking up what I am laying down?

Another great old saying. Yep I'm picking up what you're laying down Brother ! I read many labels at the nursery and that made sense, that if it is good enough for the veggies then it is meant for consumption. The water cure I'm not a big fan of, I am sure that there are people here that have success with it but I like chopping the stalk, put in clean water bucket for a week in darkness and I'll change the water every day . Thanks Brother Fish. Every once in awhile I may ask to borrow that brain cell that OMM gave you!

This is a special "Thanks" to Cronichemphog. He came over to help me pick up some RO water. By the time we got to his truck I couldn't get my breath. I went to get a tank oxygen and he said no and went and picked the RO water for me. When he got back he unloaded it to the place that's easy for me to get at. He would not let me give him anything for it......not even buds. Folks this was a selfless act, the least I can do is "Thank" him here.

Hi clayhead. Ok, you lost me already. Plain Osmocote is the same as the +, but doesn't have the ability to grow the root bacteria that helps you're girls. For that all you have to do is add Molasses every once in a while.

When you harvest using OC, there is no flush at the end. You can't wash it out. Obviously it will not hurt you and the flavor of your plants is the same.

There is a way to grow with OC and flush too. If you want to how to do that, let me know,.
