OldMedMan's Aloha Journal Part 2

It's good to hear you are feeling a little better. Rest and a small toke to make you sleep.

Good weed OMM!
I too hope you are feeling better. Have a smoke and get Jo to take you out for them ribs. I know that would help me feel better:circle-of-love:

That is exactly what happened fishy. We went today because her Doctor's plane couldn't make it back in time. Sounds terrible, but I just wanted to get it over. She brought back enough ribs for a week. It's a pain loading and unloading my oxygen tank at every place we stop. She's happy, so I'm happy. She honestly doesn't know how to care for someone. Her family did not do that sort of thing. It's a kick...everyone pretends not to notice me, but they can't help it. :ganjamon: Bottom line if Jo is happy, so am I.:thumb:

Maybe I can get a bit of rest now. :thumb:

The Story Continues..........................................................My Girl Jo

When Jo was seven she fell out of second story window. She was paralyzed from the waist down. No, they didn't take her to a Doctor; instead she was put on a couch in a room with no door. Her Dad was a shipbuilder in New Jersey. In other words they could have taken her to a hospital, but her mother would not allow it. This was in 1949.

While her Dad was working her Mother would turn tricks in the room across the hall from where Jo was laying. She could and did watch all of what was taking place. Her Mother would stick the money in her mattress. All the children knew never to go into that room or they would be beat to hell and back.

After almost a year, Jo could walk again. She still suffers from messed up vertebrae.

There were 2 boys and 6 girls in the family. Two of the girls died from alcoholism.2 others died in mental institutions,. The other girl was married 4 times and made out like a bandit on each one. She got the house in 3 of them. At he moment she is about to lose her Condo. .No one knows where the money went. The youngest son is an alcoholic and hasn't been seen for years. The other son is 81 and was just married for the 7th time.
I kind of like this guy.

When her father found out what his wife was doing he divorced her and married a Cuban lady and moved to Cuba. When Castro took over, He moved to Florida and stayed there with his wife. She passed away. When I was in school in Florida I drove over to meet him. He was a really nice guy. He looked and acted like Jackie Gleason. He has since passed away.

Back to my girl Jo. In her senior year she got pregnant and the father would not marry her. In the 50s it was a disgrace. She was an outcast. She was determined and had Vicki and graduated.

Then she met a Policeman. They were married and he proved to be the worse ass you would ever want to meet. They ran out of gas on their honeymoon on their way to Niagara Falls. They never did have a honeymoon, of course he was an asshole and for 17 years treated her like crap. He was hired; sight unseen and they moved to Yreka, California...He was fired. They moved to Marina, California. He was hired to be cop again and was later fired there too..
His daughter was old enough to be raped by him over and over. She told me this long ago. He would have affairs and come home and brag to Jo about it.

He was taking college courses and she decided to take classes too. When she continued to make better grades than him, she realized she could do OK on her own and filed for a divorce. He went through the roof, even held a gun to their son's head.. She stood her ground and they were divorced

I met her in PWP and as you know and we were married. She still has issues, who wouldn't?

When we moved to Hawaii, we had a layover in LA. He came down to say goodbye. He looked like a small Leisure Suit Larry. He was about 5'6 and he really did have on a 70s light green polyester leisure suit. This was the man that terrorized a whole family?
I smiled, but I did not laugh in his face. Later on he married again, bought a house and decided to put in a basement. He was so stupid, the house fell on him.

Now you understand why Jo is a bit strange and does crazy things, but she is my Jo and I do love her.

The Story Continues....................................More of our life at Fort Monmouth.

She had to be tough just to survive in her world.......now she's starting to mellow and I am enjoying it. You can ask THsea, she is not a dumb person at all, just kind of beat up. She seems to be getting happier with time.

Good weed to you too fishy.
:high-five:

Glad you're feeling better OMM.

Nice story about your Jo. That kind of pressure either breaks a person or turns them into diamonds. I think I know which category your Jo falls into. :Namaste:

btw, you do put all of these into your blog, right?

I like reading your story in big chunks. So far I've only read the first 2. I've sort of skimmed over most of your little pieces of the story to 'save them up' to read in a large batch. I just want to make sure I'm not missing out. You tell your story very well. It's hard not to get drawn in and want to see what happens to the characters. :)

Glad to hear your feeling better OMM :peace::thumb::circle-of-love:

Hi Harley001.:thanks:

Yep, feeling better now. Pretty sure I will have ups and downs from now on. At least I'm still here!.

Hey my friend Hiker. Funny, when you joined 420, some how I just knew we would be friends. For some reason I've always thought you would have a good story to tell too.

Yes, all the stories go into my blog. When I finish this final part, I will put it into the blog all together. It will be part 4. When it's finished I will ask if everyone one if they would like hear one more story. It's about addiction to prescription drugs.

Loved the update and learning a bit more about Jo. It's amazing she's around at all, given everything she's been through. One tough chick! So glad to hear you are feeling, at least a little bit, better. :)

Brother, I fear we have lost one of our oldest and best people here on 420. Propagator. He is no longer part of the staff and there is no trace of him. Damn shame.

Jo's my Lady!
