The Story Continues.............................................................The Barber Shop

After the young PFC left, Sam and I decided what we were going to do. We would wear civilian clothes and visit the Barber Shop and get haircuts. Sam didn't have much hair to begin with, so it would be a good test to see what they charged each of us.

We got to the Barber Shop around 10 A.M. There was a man getting a haircut, so there were open chairs.. The Barbers were all old school Italians from Italy, with heavy accents.
We both sat down and asked for a trim. The actually were good Barbers and we were pleased. It was when we paid the bill that the prices were different. Sure enough mine was $3.00 and Sam's was $8.00. We started to complain and then pulled out our IDs and told them who we were and why we were there.

They grabbed us, took us outside and literally threw us down their concrete steps. Both of us were hurt and bleeding. They were screaming at us to never come back. I told them "Don't worry, we will be back!"

Someone was taking pictures of us and we realized right next door was the Police station. We went in and pressed charges. Then we went to the Hospital on base and got patched up. Damn!

The next day we were on the front page of the local Newspaper.

We had barely walked into our office when the phone rang. Yep, it was the XO. He wanted us in his office "NOW".

When we got there he said "Are you crazy?' "I want you to go over and withdraw the charges".. "Sir we were doing our job". " You have embarrassed the Army and the Fort ".
Then he said "I'm going to teach you how to do your Job, I promise you that!'. Did he ever.

Back to the police station and we did withdraw the charges. .Once again, reporters and pictures were taken. More front page news. "The Army Withdraws Charges".
We told the paper the whole matter was our decision alone, our OIC knew nothing about it. No use dragging him into it.

Sam and I took the logical next step. We called the N Double ACP.. They were all over the papers the next day. We were in deep shit for sure.

Hey That's great fishy, you will be able to catch me! Good weed to you too Brother. Hate to keep talking about it, but I had to put in an emergency call for more Oxygen. The call went to someplace like Chicago and they will deliver it tomorrow and more tanks of it this time. I'm used to the stuff now. Cronic and I may visit THsea on Thursday and I would need at least 2 tanks. Never know when life will throw you spitball. Things stay interesting, don't they?

I'm here . I have been busy planting the garden. I think the frost period has passed. but you never know here.Sometimes we will get one in June. Then one year it snowed on the second of September. I have been playing Bill Murry this morning. Mole holes everywhere. I hope they don't get into the greenhouse. I flood them out. They move to a dry spot. I just hope the greenhouse is not that dry spot.

Oh! Man bozzo ! Last time saw one of those things was when I was a kid in Arkansas. Our Bird Dogs liked to dig them up.

I hope that the water works for you. Too bad you can't drive into the soil very thin pieces sheet metal as a barrier. How deep do yours go?

Good luck keeping them out of the green house. Damn!

Hi Buckshot.

I've been thinking about where to start next on the story, because there was so much going on at the same time. Guess I'll start with the punishment and go from there. Years were going by.

I just did a bit of more research on the girls and 3 of them will go out today..if I get to them. They are at their optimum veg growth right now. Stay tuned to this station for more!.
