OK, I'm a believer

Woohoo! Yeah man way more energy gets directed more evenly onto the canopy than with a bulb setup. Well relative to the energy consumed.
And since you put an fc4800 in a 3x3' I'd think the whole tent would become a very efficient system flooding it from corner to corner with a high density flux of energy.
Doc emerging from the grow room.. Great Scott! Marty, get in! we're going back to the future!

As that is the trick though you gotta buy the model they sell for the next size up in tent to get great performance

First harvest under the mars hydro fc-4800 evo in the 3x3 gorilla tent as opposed to hps, I'm convinced. Buds are solid. With the exception of my leaves yellowing at a faster rate and lack of heat, all went pretty well. Was impressed with the compactness of the buds, same result as under hps, maybe even more compact.
Thank you so much for the genuine opinion, I have been considering, I wonder how hot they get, have an awesome day Grow Buddy, seems like your fellow LED growers are all loving theirs too.

It gets pretty warm when I use CO2 in the summer because I don't really want to vent. It gets up into the mid 80's, which is fine with CO2. Right now I'm not running CO2 and I'm venting and it's around 78. I keep the ballast outside the tent and I have an oscillating fan that blows directly under the light. Keep in mind, I use actual leaf temp, not tent temp. I use an infrared temp gun and I calibrate the controllers to actual leaf temperature, not ambient interior tent temp. Readings would be higher. All in all, awesome light with awesome results.
