Fast buds girl scout cookies (auto Fem)
soil coco loco and perlite
seedlings
Indoor 5x5 tent with 6 in fan to carbon filter, with extra fan on stand by if needed
veg stage i will use xtrasun 64 hood with xtrasun dial a watt 400 balast wand 400w metal halide bulb
bloom stage i will use a de boss reflector hood with galaxy de select a watt 1000 balast and ushio 1000w de bulb
using botanicare sups, veg, bloom, karma, and cal mag.

this is my first grow so any help will be appreciated, i will keep trying to post pics.

Got my temp down and running good just getting my water supply ready, (what's best ph for soil, yes I will look it up. ).

I'm going with 6.2 on the ph

Can't sleep, going threw a job change. Checked on my seedlings and three of the four are starting to sprout.

place ballast outside tent.... electricity and water aren't good friends
lower your ph a little bit... and clean is the message...

thanks for the info veinz, i just hadn't mounted it yet. I mounted it to the ceiling of the tent, will that be all right?

i mount everything on a fireproof board with timers, ballast.... everything that is electric with a fire ext mounted above all...
just in case but i'm really paranoide

After a long night i got up and checked the seedlings before my short dark period. the root riot cubes were getting pretty dry, so i gave them a little bit of water. All the seedlings are starting to sprout, and one is about a inch tall and about to spread its round leaves.

update, pulled the heat pad, lowered the light.

everything is looking good.

Have a root coming out of the bottom! Lowerd the light a couple more inches.

Question, all I have is seven gallon smart pots, should a gradually step up? I have read that you shouldn't with autos. Or should I order some 3 gallons and go straight to them?

Watered this morning, pulled the dome off the tray and got a fan blowing on them.

no auto don't like transplant...
i would go for the 3 gallon but i got a poor back and can't lift more... so that's up to you
