Welcome to the 420 Magazine Nug of the Month Contest.

Please submit a photo of your best nug. (There is a separate contest thread for plants)

The nug must be your own, either purchased or grown. Optionally, we'd love to hear about the strain, taste, aroma, potency, effect, weight or any other frosty details that you're willing to share.

The contest will be open for submissions from the 1st until the 14th at midnight PST. At one minute past midnight on the 15th, we will begin voting for a winner.

The winner earns 420 rep points, "Nug of the Month" title, 420 Mag T-Shirt, 420 Mag Stickers and a 420 Magazine Nug Jar!

Monthly winners are automatically eligible for our prestigious "Nug of the Year" contest in January.

Rules:

1. The contest is open to members with 50 or more posts. Members must also have at least 50 posts to be entitled to vote.

2. Contest entries must be original photos of your own nug. The nug photo may include several nugs or a cola. This nug may be grown by yourself or purchased at a legal medical Marijuana co-op, collective or dispensary.

3. Entries must include ONLY photos of the nug. But you may add one photo as a reference point for size or a closeup/macro.

4. Maximum of two photos per member. Both photos must be of the same strain or batch of nugs. Updating photos throughout the month is not allowed.

5. Remember to upload your photo through our Photo Gallery before posting it on this thread: Photo Gallery Guide - How to Resize, Upload & Post Photos

6. Nugs must be dry and ready to smoke or vaporize. Any nug that appears to be too moist to smoke or vaporize will be deemed an invalid entry. No "wet" nugs please.

7. Self-nominations only. Past winners are ineligible for 3 months from date of win.

8. Competition is open to the first 25 entries.

9. Promotion (i.e. campaigning) for yourself or a friend, or any attempt at voting more than one time per person (i.e. multiple user names, etc.) is considered cheating and is prohibited. Promotion also includes family and friends who register a new account for voting purposes. Campaigning in any form - including but not limited to mentioning the entry in any thread outside the contest, a signature link to the entry and campaigning via PMs - will result in the entry being removed from the month's contest. A second instance, either in a different contest during the same month or in any future contest, will attract a lifetime ban from all future contests.

10. Editing Photos: You may resize and/or crop your photos, however adding text, images and effects are prohibited. This makes it a fair contest for all, as not everyone can afford photo editing programs and/or know how to use the them.

11. Staff members from other cannabis forums are not permitted to enter the contest.

By posting a submission into this contest, it is assumed that you have read and agree to abide by each of the aforementioned rules. Consider your submission your "virtual signature".

This bud is from my Maria, it's been curing for 20+days now. This is the last of my Maria's nugs and is being saved for special occasions.

The trichomes are plentiful and very potent. Check out my first journal experience to see the harvest, I am so very proud to present this bud as my submission to the contest.

Hey everyone, just a little nug from my last harvest

Atomic from Bomb Seeds, around 6 weeks in veg, 60 days in flower. Yield was just under 10oz at the time of jarring, has been curing with boveda's for 2 weeks. Amazingly uplifting smoke, not a strong smelling strain throughout flower and very smooth smoker, has made a few people green out so far not realizing the potency

I would like to introduce you to my Gorilla Glue #7 grown in a 3gal DWC. This is one of the 3 strains that I run during my first grow. Gorilla Glue is my favorite strain and this lady didn't disappoint, with a forest of trichomes and a super dense structure. This has a kick that has left more than one seasoned smoker flat on their butts. This 4.7 gram bud it a great example of the cola tops from this wonderful strain.

This is Goldmine from Heavyweight seeds. This is one of the best strains I have grown yet. The buds are dense and frosty with a sweet honey and wild berry smell. The buzz is narcotic and long lasting with a relaxing body finish. These buds are best enjoyed enjoyed in the evening when its time to kick back with some popcorn and a good movie. Thunder Haze Auto

Breeder: GenoFarm Seeds

Grow medium: Coco, Perlite mix

Lights used: Marshydro Reflector 144x5 and MarsII 700 LED

Germ to harvest time: 80 days

Nutes: Cyco base and additives + some General Organics additives

Smell: Skunky, old school haze. reminds me of the chronic i used to get in high school. Super pungent def not one to bring with you if
you dont want ppl to know your a stoner!

Taste: Has a very sharp taste that lingers for a long time after the inhale, reminds me of a dank pine or even hop flavor on the exhale
agian one hit of this will clear out a room

Look: Stacked with beautiful white trichomes on a light green canvas and bright red hairs make this bag appeal close to 10/10

I was pleasantly surprised by my first Autoflower grow, this Sativa domanant strain was a giver with over 200 grams per plant and some of the fattest buds ive seen.

This was a fast hitter It takes you straight to stoned. I would say about 3 to 5 hits and good to go. It isn't overpowering not a one hit weed, but hits straightaway. Definite munchies and dry mouth. A bit sleepy for the first hour.

After about the first hour it fades into a nice introspective mellow buzz. Mind and body awake for about the next 2-3 hours at least before wearing off.
It has a sweet but stale fruity cereal smell after cure
Taste is a bit spicy or like incense.

FWIW, My wife/patient is the smoke reporter giver, she likes to combust not a vapeing kind of gal. She says anyone with regular tolerance this is a good sesion smoke, smoke it all night long.

And I loved growing and the hardiness of this PCK cross.

White Lemon from Strain hunters
it smells like wriggles juicy fruit gum and a hint of skunk more uppity than couch it's a good wake and bake. Good producer of large nugs
can handle most anything you give it. I have grown it 3 different times and has been very consistent between all three seeds medium size plants big nugs
