Not a bug or an issue, just a suggestion

Should we place a friendly limit on thread length in the Introduce Yourself section of the forum? I have been noticing some lengthy threads - one current one has 261 replies  . At (if not well before) that point, the discussion would probably be more appropriate in one of the other sections, perhaps the Growers Lounge section, if nothing else.

And I have also been seeing a lot of threads created in the Introduce Yourself section that are "support" type threads, like maybe people think it's the Dial-a-Pot-Doctor area, lol. A "THIS SECTION IS NOT FOR PLANT ISSUES/PROBLEMS" type sticky might help a lot (it won't stop all of them, of course). I'm not really b!tching here (if I see someone looking for help, I'll direct them to the correct section, try to help them if it's something I feel qualified to do, or both)... It's just that members who post about their issues in that section might be doing themselves a disservice, because not everyone checks out the threads in that section of the forum; also, other members (current and future) who look in the appropriate section for help with their own issues before posting a thread of their own (surely there are one or two who do this ;) ) in order to see if a solution is already posted... aren't going to see such a thread if it's in the Introduce Yourself section.
