Im in 17 days into flowering and i havnt seen any trichome pruduction! This is my second grow and remember seing them sooner! I was using miracle grow soil. And straight water! Im now using foxfarms and sunshine mix#4

Photos would help, but I think as early into flowering as you are no trich's shouldn't be a concern. Are these plants clones from your first grow? Same strain as first grow?
One method of increasing trichome development is to supplement your lighting with about 10% of total wattage with UVB light. You can find them affordably in a pet store (or amaz*n) for use with reptiles.
