No, Not the Power

Ok so my buddy and i just started our second grow and the power got shut off due to a miscomunication.
We just started our third week of veg, using a 24 hour light.

We dont know for sure when the lights went out, but we believe it was sometime this moring, but cant know fo sho.

So do you think we can still save her or are we better off giving up and starting fresh?

They say with Sativas you are screwed, with Indica, not so bad. I would drop it into the light cycle you want and hope for the best.

Who says this? I've never heard this new data that strain matters. Only what cycle the plant is in. If it's in flowering cycle then extra dark won't hurt and if in veg extra light won't hurt.

KK the power is back on after about 24 hours, give or take a few hours. And we believe we have a pure indica or mostly indica plant, i havent seen it yet but its standing 6 1/2 inch tall and has seven nodes. She isnt leaning or anything so i think we are good to go!

Thanks everyone for your input, and joe thanks for the new ideas if this ever happens again.

You should be fine. It would have been much worse had the plants been in the flowering stage instead of veg.

I think I got some of it from here.No Mercy Seeds 12/12 Hours 7 Harvests a Year System. Maybe he was talking about this specific situation, not sure.

What I got out of Cees posts was exactly what I've said in the past. With flowering plants it's best to give them extra dark instead of extra light if you need to swap flowering cycle times and that if you screw up and give the flowering plants the extra light, sativas will react to the stress faster than indicas. That's what i get out of cees post.
