hey everyone new to this site and I started a grow journal :) but I'm having some issues with my seedlings? sproutlings? idk what to call my baby plants lol..

so my question is where did I go wrong I germinated six seeds using the paper towel method 5 of the six had tap roots I dug tiny holes and layed them in the holes with the seed higher than the root where possible its pretty hard and I didn't want to touch the root..

but so far I only have one true plant, one root came up really weird no sign of the seed and then last night I thought one was coming up but in the morning the seed and root were on top of the soil? so I replanted it really carefully and am hoping for the best

was wondering what I'm doing wrong? could it be the potting soil/compost I'm using did I not wait for the roots to get long enough I planted them before they were longer than a inch and a lot of pictures in books/internet show really long tap roots. is it crop king seeds I read reviews that seemed good?

this is my first grow and I just want to improve my results for next time :) kinda scared I thought if I had like 3 or 4 plants id get one to the end of the year but just one is all my eggs in one basket lol anyways thanks for reading please check out my grow journal if you want I have pictures on there and if you need any more info feel free to ask

I'm new still but just wondering what size of pots you have? also have much water have they got? Maybe to much water isnt allowing any oxygen to the seeds. Not sure why they wouldn't sprout, sometimes it just takes a few days?
 
well I watered the soil real well before I planted them but I let it drain and get to just moist before putting them in 4 of the six I planted like a week ago and 2 of the six took longer for roots to grow so I planted those ones just a few days ago. the one that was on top of the soil was on of the 2 I planted only a few days ago.

and I have been giving them like a capful of water every other day its been pretty hot where I live like 20 degrees Celsius..

I have better info in the grow journal but I thought id ask here for help to :) and heres a pic of the size of pots and my one healthy lady

yes they all have 4 holes I punched on the bottom with a screw driver :) and ive been watering with bottled water from Walmart idk if that matters

yea so far 1 out of six kinda sad but I still have 4 seeds so I can try again and me and roomie are gonna set up a indoor hydro grow cause that's what shes done before but I'm still hoping for the best from these six all I know for sure is the one who came up really weird with no leafs is probably not gonna make it

but the other ones I still have hope for they don't call it weed for no reason right?
and yea I should have made better soil but I ran out of ei and had no job :( I'm landscaping now though so ill buy more seeds and get a indoor set up soon
