Hello again fellow green enthusiasts! Night here again with another grow journal of some amazing strains. First off a new strain from elemental seeds, trueberry which smells amazing and only 1 week into flower! The 90's unknown stain was given to me by a friend who is trying to bring back strains from that decade, so your guesses are as good as mine Finally the Twilight (dutch passion seeds), the one in flower is going well and smells quite nice, she was a bit smaller than the trueberry and 90's when she went into flower but she is looking good I will also include pictures of the other twilight that is still currently in veg stage but you guys have got to see this....this plant has grown 3, yeah thats right 3 main stems straight off! Me and my girlfriend thought that because in the early stages it was so deformed that it would die or have stunted growth but were we surprised when this 1 in a billion seed grew with 3 rather than 1 main stem, truly amazing!

That Trueberry is looking good. Mine didn't get that big until I added more 2700k bulbs....so its pretty far behind. It responded really well to topping and has grown around 4 inches in a couple days. Oh well, now I know how I messed it up...will probably rectify that by making the jump to LED sooner or later.

I found a place that sells Elemental's seeds individually. All of their gear sounds pretty good. May have to try the Honey Banana or 5th Element next.

Thanks man How much wattage output does your entire light system produce? I haven't topped mine just to see how it grows out then if i get more in the future i will have a better idea of how it grows but i'll follow your journal to see what the topping does In soil though growth is slower than hydro so it may not have been just too little light.

Oh awesome dude! Could you send me a link please? All their seeds look frosty as so i reckon any of them will be good I recently got more seeds from the attitude and got the mango tango as a freebie, won't be growing that for a while though.

The equivalent output is 800watts...but at the wall its 184 watts. Literally the day after I changed the bulbs the plants thickened up. I don't think much of there current stretch is because of flowering as I'm less than a week in.

Its a little expensive for individuals but compared to the $100 for a pack its well worth it. Unfortunately they don't really breed any sativas. I think Trueberry and 5th element are their only somewhat cerebral strains. I'd love to try their True OG, but I'm worried my filter wouldn't keep up.

That should be plenty of light for them but as you said maybe too little light for a little too long? In my opinion the stretch could also be because of the light intensity change?

You said it buddy! 3 sites i know of that sell them only have the 6 packs so its a great find Yeah i know. Some of the others are i'm pretty sure but maybe have a look at all their strains and see how they are described, even though some of them don't have good descriptions :/ You mean carbon filter yes? Lol I don't have one dude and I've done fine Just good air flow is what i achieve for.

Quick update, I have put the 3 stemmed Twilight in the flower tent now, had some troubles with a leak but its all good now

Hey bro,
No not yet but hey I'm only 1 1/2 weeks into flower and she already stinks bro, yours should start smelling more after a week I cannot wait for when the flowers and resin start being produced, going to be one of the dankest strains imo. I do have 3 more in there obviously so the smell from the tent would be a combination of the strain smells but i can surely smell the trueberry the most. How far are you into flower now?

I'm a week in exactly, but that girl has smelled since veg if you fondled her leaves...

I'm excited to see the results as well if it turns out well ill likely grow another elemental strain. Looking at 5th element or mango tango.

Oh nice so you aren't that far behind, time wise. Her smell is nice isn't it, pretty exactly like the description, fresh pine-berry smell.
Hmmmm maybe because yours is smaller its not producing as much smell as mine?

I think both of ours will turn out well From the start i could see that it had strong genetics so i think that elemental seeds other strains would be as good or better. I had a freebie of that 5th element, unfortunately it died because of me Looks really good though but i have 2 freebies of that mango tango so if you get the mango tango we could compare journals again!

I think if it wasn't such a small space ide smell it more. My fan cycles the air almost 10 times per minute on half speed...i get whiffs of it when I'm sitting in from of the cabinet with the door open, but the smell doesn't stick around long.

Its funny, my Blue Velvet exploded as a seedling and then just sort of stopped. The trueberry spent more time on its root system. After a couple weeks it blew past the BV. Looking at the size of the plant now I'm thinking if everything goes alright I should 15ish grams dried. But who knows.

I wont be able to do another grow until June because ill be out of the country for two weeks in May-June. I was thinking Id do C99 and Alien OG. If the TB turns out nice I might have to change up my plans a bit.

Isn't 5th element supposed to be more cerebral? If it is maybe ill go with the Mango Tango...its damn difficult to pick a strain to go with when there are so many good ones. What else were you thinking of growing ?

Really? wow that is interesting. Out of all the ones i have done so far during this grow, the TB has been the most vigorous in growth which i'm very pleased with How tall and wide are your girls now? Just like you really i don't have any idea of what i'm going to get, all it says in the description is a medium-high yielder....I'm hoping to get over 200g from her, hopefully more with my new 400w light and another added LED panel i should be able to get a decent amount but we'll see.

Ahhh that sucks man these ones i have going now should be done around end of feb- start of march then i'm going straight into flowering the Fruity chronic juice and grizzly purple kush. Sorry man i don't really know strain names that well, this is my 2nd grow and i'm from Australia where we don't use strain names, its either good weed or shit lol.

Yeah it is, just like the trueberry. I knowwww brooo everything they have just sounds delicious Well i have the FCJ and GPK going in the veg tent now, only small with max their 2nd set of true leaves. Might do one of the mango tango seeds i have since i have 2 or maybe something else, haven't really thought about it. So many strains so little space aye bro

The good new I guess is they haven't really started stretching yet. The TB was trained sideways some so isn't that tall. It has 6 main stems now though. So there's potential to put out some descent bud. The blue velvet is staying very short. It's really frustrating me. In the two pas days it has finally been getting some height where I topped it.

I fucked up having all blue lights in the beginning. I ultimately need more light and will be going with LED in the future.

I wouldn't know about the BV but the TB is an indica dominant strain so don't think it will stretch that much dude, at the end week 1 for me the TB was at 17cm tall and 30.3cm wide, tomorrow is the last day of week 2 so i will have more measurements and photos tomorrow
I hope you get a decent amount man. Whats the genetics of the BV? may have also been your light problem like before?

The mistakes we make are the lessons we learn I keep hearing really good things about LED so go ahead! Will be well worth it if you get a really decent one

The blue velvet is a purple Thai x afghan indica cross.

The reason I think they may stretch a little more is because the first week or two of flower isn't really flower. Once the pistols start forming you often get some stretch where the plant jumps up. Maybe not with these, but well have to see.

Yeah the stretch period as its known, for some its 3 weeks to my knowledge. I'm planning to install a scrog netting frame (1st time) after the transitional period from stretch to flower so that will be interesting Should be 1-2 more weeks until i see the pistols/flowers starting to form, won't be far that much far off for you aswell i believe

I have my screen up already, but if the plants don't get much bigger I may just take it down...im also thinking about making a smaller individual screen for the trueberry...need to do that soon if I'm going to.

Give them time man, they may yet just explode with growth If it wasn't to get bigger, would it really need a screen? or is it because of space you have?

If they don't get any bigger then I'll remove the screen. The TB is big enough that it could be put into a mini scrog by itself. I wanted to do a scrog because with cfls it would offer the most even light penetration, and for the space Id get alot more bud. I pretty much have to train any plant I grow because I only have 3 feet of space.

Once I get the bearings on my odor control (once the plants are in full bloom) I can make the executive decision to grow a full blown haze sativa in there. the size of my screen I have could definitely tame a sativa tree if I train the plant properly and flower from seed.

Fingers crossed they do man! Maybe go ahead and mini scrog that one just incase? Phwoar that is a tiny amount of space bro, try anything and everything you can to get a larger yield, naturally though, if its for personal i will/have never put steroids into my feeding system.

Which sativa are you thinking? I'm guessing because you want to know your odor control you want a stinky one Flower from seed? never seen that or tried that before, have you researched it? See if the grow nutrients timing or something would be different?
