I was just soap bar and thai press or sticks occasionally. Not anything else round my way. Went to Amsterdam when I was 17-18 a couple of times. Had some other stuff there. Doing a bucket off Afghan Black is the most stoned I have ever been. I was an accomplished bong user at that point too!

My Kali Mist just came in at 11% (plus 4.5% mix CND and CBG) and that’s plenty strong. The Thai grass here I keep meaning to get some tested. Reckon its 8-9%

Talking to the testing guys. They are doing loads. Pretty much never see over 25% Loads of THCflation I reckon

The Warlock is from Serious Seeds in NL who first bred it. The CBD version was a collab with The CBD Boys. Its growing wild. 1:1 THC to CBD at like 12% of each. And its a sativa. Does not compute. Reckon it will let me mashed. CBD and CBG seems to knock me a little sideways.

I did not know that! I know that he lost some whole strains after a police raid, like Kali Mist and had to recreate it. There’s probably a good book in there for broad appeal not just growers on seed genetics, wind it in with some general history of the places where the landraces come from

My OG Farmer mate popped round for a gossip about some non grow stuff and chat earlier. Loving the lights on winches.

On the way out he caught up with this tent and had a look.

The door was barely open and he said “Oh blah blah for sure root rot” Gave the technical name and all.

Said “dry it out and then feed it just water with H2O2 and should be ok got any hydrogen peroxide?”

In unison - The swimming pool!

So doing that. The spare Banner is ready to go if it doesn’t work. Def an issue post transplant to SIP. So emptied the res as much as I could by tipping.

He’d never seen a SIP before though so got one over him there.

Some of the others have activated beast mode. The CBD Warlocks, some are taking 300ml already. The Two other SIPs look like twice a day feeding is imminent.

Think we’ll be changing the lights over at the weekend. The last 4 for that tent need another 1-2 days indoors. Then 2 days under the big LED before switching on the old school lights.

I thought you always used h202? Also does your water come from a sealed tank or open water?

That sip looks far greener then the others. It's not usually an issue but when you have plants that young and pots that small the roots its definitely a big concern.

If you do end up swapping the plants out you could cut the pot and medium straight down the middle parallel with the main stem and see your root zone.

No we use unfiltered borehole water - our pool is H2O2 only for cleaning. A dosing system with no salt or chlorine. You can drink it - tastes like water at the dentist or hospital. Same stuff. Its really useful for popping seeds - an hour in that into paper soaked in the same and 48 hours later they have 1” taps. Here the idea is to dry it out then clean with the H2O2 flush. We have 200L and 100L nute tanks. Sealed. Ph’d down a couple of pips every/twice a day I’m guessing some damage was done when we repotted from full solo to the necessarily truncated space to fit the res in these SIPs. So its basically a race. Can I get it dried and cleaned before it dies? I think there’s too much perlite above the air gap. Its messed with it. We get it cleaned up before its irretrievably harmed we can power her back up. Moved her next to the fan overnight and added some fresh dry perlite on top.

See what morning brings.

Ha did none of that.

Walked downstairs and decided on another check. Whipped it out tipped it out into my hand upside down and observed. The perlite later was huge and separated out from coco above. i basically binned it, broke off that bottom section threw in a thin layer of perlite on top the grate, a layer of coco and dynomyco and dumped the now rinsed through with H2O2 remaining root ball on top of that and packed it all in snug again. Fresh perlite on top and back in the tent. With a full res of nutes for company.

Probably dead by morning 😂 I’d obviously prefer she lives but the replacement gets any bigger its going to be a problem so I’m forcing a decision out of her.

I made that up. Never lost one this late in the game before. The little Hulkberry lightening up. Not drinking and not growing.

Gulp - I guess I’ll know in the morning.

Above left Blueberry SIP- above right Blueberry Airpot. Near identical. This is what I expect to be honest.

Used the hose on the airpots this evening. Need to work on it as it was messy af.

The Blueberry and Royal Gorilla each got two full res’s of food today and will check on them before I go to bed. 300ml would put them on bar with the rest.

If you treat the Airpot version as LOS (small amounts of water daily) rather than the wet/dry cycle that's probably how it would work out at least initially.

Once they get larger the SIP should outperform based on its on-board reservoir giving it extra resources to use for growth.

If you do the wet/dry thing the SIP should outgrow the Airpot since the reservoir avoids the stall in growth during the dry period that the other will be subject to.

I get you but say in our main grow I just get dialled in. The medium is always still just a shade damp at the point of rewatering. Just re watered all of these after 14 hours. The Airpots were damped and a touch heavier than the SIPs - this is probably the limitation of the res at Solo scale. 600ml for the CBD Warlocks in 14 hours 2nd week of veg 🤦🏻‍♂️ Blueberry and GG SIPs took over the res at 150ml 🤷🏽

I assume in the three minutes or so they hoovered up half of the initial 100ml.

Once they get to the point where you have to saturate the cup daily, the extra reservoir bit in the SIP that otherwise drains out in the Airpot should make a difference.
 
They have been daily for 10 days. Just moved to twice daily. The SIPS are only 2 days into drinking a full res - although it will be two again today.

Airpots at 600ml a day already. Crazy. Putting the CMH and Co2 on tomorrow. I might do a full irrigation system for them. The tank is right there and we have everything but a manifold to hand. Watering so much so many times a day is going to get old fast.

Ordered two manifolds. They were like $30 6 months ago. I guess there’s a glut now because I paid $10 for two.

The little emitters were $3 for 100.

4/7 irrigation pipe and 1/2” PVC we have lots of. Just need a Blue PVC T-Junction and I can connect it straight into the pumped tank supply. Press blue button to water.

The SIPs are closest the door so they can still get the syringes.

Day One of twice a day watering was the answer.

We have a stop gap. & Co uses the hose connected to the nute tanks and wsters them over a washing up bowl as I pass them out to her. I water the back row in situ with syringes. Then I put them back.

Less than ten minutes which is my limit. It will take 5 days for the bits to arrive for the new system by which time I think they’ll be too big to take out for watering.

So this pesky SIP with the temerity to think it can quietly quit on my watch can go do one. Its making the rest of the tent look bad. The semi repot didn’t seem to work.

Enraged accepting that plant care, empathy and love are required to grow plants successfully I furiously gently removed the plant from the pot and with a little shake a bare stem with a tap root was all that remained. 🥲

But where there’s fresh root there’s life. Bathed in H2O2 water, slathered in cloning gel, SIP cleaned thoroughly and serviced I repotted it in fresh coco and @DYNOMYCO layered per usual with perlite and plonked her back in the SIP and thence in the tent.

Live goddamnit, yer yella leaved hussy you! I want the other monster Hulkberry for the main grow not hanging out here 😂. That’ll go 300g upstairs.
