Finally got round to trimming the first Solos.

Strawberry in at 26g - nearly an ounce!

Might have it tested it looks amazing. Going to dry it another couple of days and then into baby Grove Bags.

There’s some pretty nugs in there, August here I come… 🤣

Am I right in saying the solos was you first grow seed to harvest yourself?

Beautiful solo buds Nick!
 
Evening feed done. All good much of a muchness but some of the airpots are taking 150-170ml before run off. The Blueberry and Hulkberry only took 60ml and the GG 80ml. The res is around 110ml for each. Maybe waiting for a kick as the roots explore lower.

In Solos, yes. 21 last grow seed to bagged. Previous 20 or so were clones.

A bit of Solo background. This is where I get the clear solo inners for the SWICK stage from.

@Carmen Ray cinnamon is a natural antifungal. early in my grow I scraped off the algae when it dried out, watered untill run off & then spread cinnamon over the surface.. I had no more algae grow after but it still allowed what looked like mycelium to grow on surface which is a good sign so will make this my standards now 👍🏽

I’ll come back to this is a moment.

So drumroll please. A first look at the Solo Lab. There’s a few bits to finish. As you can see we have them under LED still although the HPS and CMD are cabled and ready to go. I need to find a working clip fan or two - its amazing fairly sure 5/6 I bought in a batch all failed after 2 days. They are from a grow brand. One you’ll know. Bad batch or something I guess.

The AC piping is ready for the intake. The return air to keep a sealed circuit I can’t do until Tuesday. Tomorrow I’ll get a couple of new Co2 tanks and that’s easy enough to hook up. Pretty much there. I’m going to push the cold air into the bottom of the tent at plant level. As it warms it will rise and get sucked out back to the AC hood we had built a few months back (from whence it came) that’s about it. Some trays underneath for easy clean with the wet vac.

On the plants - specifically SIP v. Airpot.
Gorilla Glue #4 in orange. SIP killing it. But I got the runty one. Its only about 1” shorter but its never picked up so many nodes. The stem is pretty bare. Its a long journey yet.
Staying on the SIP tip - I mentioned yesterday the Hulkberry SIP didn’t feed to the res which was weird so I top watered. Today all normal. 80ml or so same as big sister GG. Which is good. The Airpot SIP about the same size at the moment. (Which I think will be the average result of the 3 comparative strains)

Its probably one of them. Like golf or tennis with the 4 “Majors” I reckon Thailand would be one representing Asia.

There is also a lot of eating from roadside stalls or markets - that’s a catering section of the supermarket. Cartons, cups, pizza boxes, straws.

But plastic waste is horrendous. Outside of urban/suburban areas there’s no refuse collection so waste, including all those plastics get burnt at the front of peoples’ property. Smells horrible and awful for the environment.

Oh those ping pong balls? They’re sold at the Aviary Shop which also sells darts and the balloons to pop with them.

I went to one of those shows once. Meh. Wouldn’t go back. I spent most of my time helping to owner’s ten year old daughter (went to a top top Bangkok school) with her homework. She had absolute contempt for all the drunken tourists watching various things fly out of bits of girls.

I wondered when that would come up... I'm glad you found homework and children more engaging than making sport of women.
 
Plants are doing alright. Various things going on with some droop. Yellowing is all dying off but not returning/spreading.

Topped the GG SIP yesterday. Think I’ll popsicle the GG’s for sure. Not sure the others. See how they grow.

4 in the SWICKS need another 4 days at least I reckon. Monday would work as by then the veg tent should be clear(ish) and we can repot to 1G’s with the spares.
