PINCH, "Nice trip, eh?"...Medical Cannabis Club In Vancouver, BC CANADA
Toatally ed-ited, I land in Vancouver and cruz on down to Canadian Customs and Immigration. Not a worry in the world, I'm doing my banana bread and still flying from the cookie-kicker I had before we landed. Through and out to my ride.. no sweat.
About 2 days ago, I decide to visit the Compassionate Club of British Colombia. It's a cool little club and wellness center in an old part of Vancouver. I went in, showed them my CDL and my Oakland CBC card, they call while I'm filling out a form to verify I'm a member in good standing, 15 minutes later I have the first 0f 4 courtesy visits per year. If I do more, I'll have to join.. I could see that, if necessary.
So there's the menu, not unlike in any club but the names are different. They had white rhino, kush, hash, oils, tinctures, edibles and all that.. but I'm an INDICA man.. on the never ending hunt for "THE INDICA".. so I had a simple question.. "What's the best INDICA you have my friend?"
"This little beauty here called Emerald Green.. local strain." he said.
"Well you might better give me 4 gm please.." said I.
"$10/gram, sound good?" he said.
"Hell yes!" said I, my brain said $10CAN = $8US.. excellent Smithers!
Prices ranged from $4/edible (not as strong as XXX Orange County, it'd take 4 Cannuck eddies to have the strength of one OC XXX eddie, stuff I'm used to but ok..) Pot ranged from $6/gm up to $10/gm, hash.. $15/gm. The pot was awsome. Emerald Green was an Indica that'll get you real stupid in 2 puffs off a pipe.. good for about an hour or more.. fine quality. I'd rate it in the top three I've ever smoked. A local BC bud I think, all nice nuggets.. left what I couldn't smoke at the Vancouver house.. Medical Cannabis and international borders do not mix well.
Today.. got up at 5:30am to catch a plane home to the Bay Area today. Had my coffee and 2 Cannuck edibles.. the only way to start your day.. got a taxi, got checked in, got through U.S. Customs and Immigration, got to my gate, got to my seat and I was flying before we took off! Yes.. a wonderful trip north. Pinch
P.S.: As the fog has worn off I'm having to change some prices but now pretty much right on..
