Newbie in need of some light shedding on this problem

Hi Guys, Can someone please help me out, I'm new to growing, I've germinated a few seeds, got them in the tent now after 9 days from sprouting in coir & perlite, with lights at max height and only veg lights on with a 420 watt(actual from the wall) led, it's at 79f & humidity is 50%, only fed r/o water atm, some have grown okay but others have wilted and died, a few are like in these pics below.. could somebody give advice on this problem please? If you look closely one of the leaves on each plant are turning sideways at the end. I watched and read countless videos and pages about growing, most if not all pointing out the dangers of too cold and too humid, where I have the exact opposite problem, so have been trying to rectify the issues, but not sure if it's related. Tried looking through all my notes on deficiencies, ph & humidity and environment but can't see any examples like them. Any help is greatly appreciated guys, I want to make oil for my own use, but can't until I can get these babies going. Thank you :)

They look wet, maybe over watered. That kills more seedlings then anything im sure you've read that. They really don't need much at first. I don't see anything other then that...9 days though they could be a bit bigger. I see a speck of burn on the middle of one of the plants. What kind of coco and perlite did you use? Any ferts? How many have you killed? Got a group shot for reference?

I don't at the mo, but think it's the ph. Not sure what's wrong with my new r/o filter but I get readings of 6.2 -6 from the filter, 2 hours later the ph has changed. Does it need time to settle? Tried to test the plant yesterday, was 6.5 run off, flushed them with r/o & cal mag, still 6.4, do I just need to wait a day for the r/o ph to settle before I get an accurate reading?

The sprouts do look wet But the ro water don’t hold ph very well due to no trace minerals to hold the ph. I’m not a coco grower I do hydro but they look wet no me and no need for calmag this early just fresh water mist and root booster

I am a firm believer in giving them full spectrum light. Have two leds in veg probably 375 actual watts on my plants. Mine are fed from day one , I do run coco just not the fine stuff I run the chunk and bottom feed the plants for 15 minutes a day with full strength veg food, lights are 12-18 inches above the plants. I ph my veg food to 5.7 or 5.8 no issues with the plants. Typically coco is hard to overwater the finer stuff if used I will usually add the larger perlite to help with drainage. The large chunk coco gets nothing but coco. Keep good air flow, lower the light if it is maxed out, they don't get a break crom the light if they are outside so they can handle whatever an led can put out. Within reason of course. Get your ph and food right and you are good to go just have good air movement and exchange and keep the humidity in check and they should start moving for you.
Peace OG

Great thanks! I'll use lemon juice to bring the ph down if still too high after using root nutes, hope this works! 2 are dead, 3 hanging on and 2 are just about growing. Looks so easy on youtube :D
Lemon juice wtf. Ph up and down is really cheap And I’d think lemon being a acid would raise the ph not bring down wou want a base to bring it down. But hey I’ve never tried that. Maybe that’s your issue

you got it exactly opposite iceman. ph up buffer is a base, ph down buffer is an acid.

most plants under LED are going to need cal mag from the get go. LED is notorious for pulling cal mag out in any media.
RO water will pull from the atmosphere if left uncovered. it'll naturally try to get to neutral, which is ph 7. if storing RO water i use water cooler type bottles and leave them capped. the smaller exposed area and capping helps keep it from running up so fast.

That's brilliant OG, thank you very much. I'll use some of that advice now actually :)

Bought ph up & down 2 weeks ago and they said there was an issue, so is coming tomorrow, but looked up that citric acid lowers the ph, and it does, like a stone, so using drop at at a time. :)

Great advice about the cal mag, will leave it in & add root boosters :)

That’s great to know I have a fat bag of food grade citric acid. I use it to make moonshine I can pump out 200% alcohol by Volume

Silica is a good add. If my memory serves me right it'll raise your PH in RO water so keep an eye on that. It will build you some sturdy trunks. ;) I used protekt through veg years ago. How about a picture the next time?? You've got some solid advice now run with it.

I actually put the lights 20" above the top of them, too far or not enough? Would look at the light instructions, but they're the ones who also said the 900w Version (415w actual power) would replace a 1000w HPS :D

will have to lower the feed methinks, they have tip burn today after feeding, life lessons hey, less is better!!

Ask and you shall receive :) Here's my best.... and my worst!
