Hi y’all I am new to growing. I old seeds 4-5 years old. I let 4 sit in a cup of water/ hydrogen peroxide for 12 hours the. Transferred them to a paper towel on a paper plate cut in half. The plate is on a heater and covered with a shower towel. I spray the paper towel every day once sometimes twice. It’s been one week exactly and still no sprouts. I check on them every day to look for any progress. Am I doing something wrong? Are they too old? Will they sprout eventually?

Will LED lights help the germination process?

The seeds look like they are starting to slinter. Like a flaky shell, or a peeling. Is that a good sign?

I got them in soil with led lights.
