Hello from the UK. New grower. Got 3 on the go. 2 sets of 2x2 with 6 autos in total and a 4x4 with some photos... Curious if anyone knows what these white tips on my fan leaves are.. Growing in coco - ph 5.6 - using advanced nutrients oh perfect technology and big bud and in 1week roughly going on to overdrive. This Stardawg is on day 11 of flower so like 3weekish left. Other than that white tip, all my plants are pretty perfect. So eager for. My next one already got like 7seeds waiting to start germinating lol

Welcome to 420 Mag ! Can you post a pic of the plant showing the white tip leaves ? Hard to say what it is without seeing it. I'm thinking it might just be a little nute burn, but it could be something else. Hard to say without a pic to go by.

Have this on my bubble bomb strain aswell, was thinking light burn at first, but veered off that thought, nute burn probs the closest though. I'm thinking drop my measurements by a ml for the rest of the grow due to am not far off adding overdrive which is obviously a strong nutrient itself for what it does

Reckon I should feed my Stardawg auto and my bubble photos on 3ml mix rather than 4ml mix? I can't go lower than 3ml as I'd be making a mix for vegative stage... Ph perfect technology - advanced nutrients. That's what am using which is a cup winning nutrient that you'll probs already know of

Plants look pretty good to me. Looks like a slight bit of nute burn. No big deal. I purposely push my plants nutes till I get a slight tip burn. Then I know they are taking up all the nutes they can handle. Problem with nutrient directions is they say in week 3 give this amount. In week 4 give another amount, etc., etc. The nute companies don't know when your plants need stronger nutes. So until I see my plants getting a lighter green color I do not increase my nutes. If you go by the leaf color things are more accurate as far as feeding.
@Bill284 would probably be a good person for you to work with. He's from the UK & a very good grower with lots of knowledge.

Ouch ! You're using A.N. That stuff is expensive. Cost me a fortune when I used it growing in Coco. I no longer use it.

Thank you for that, as they get older, will the 4ml recommended amount become suffice for it, or does that mean I just need to reduce for the rest of flowering? Yes it would be expensive if I used it as if I was just in coco but I have around 40% worm castings from when I started. I started em off in a live organic mix in my coco, so fortunately, it's been keeping moist like actual soil so I haven't needed to feed daily. I'm a new grower but I'm highly educated on most of growing due to for about 3yrs I've watched endless grows on YouTube, watched mr grow it, mr canuck etc, follow some of Bruce bugsby aswell. But yeah I'll check this guy out also, thanks

The Bruce Bugby video's are great. Canuck is a member on this site. Don't know of Mr. Grow It. Bill is just a member here who helps a lot of people in the UK out. It helps to have others from your area when it comes to growing as they know more about your weather conditions & the products available in your area. Then again, this site is loaded with UK growers.
I'm curious why you switched up & started feeding nutes from organic ? I'm asking because I'm getting ready to try So-Hum Super Soil for the first time on my next grow. I like to try out everything. Done Coco, DWC & Soil. Tried 5-6 different nute lines. Been through about 20 different lights. 5 years of trying different things to see what works the best. I found the best bang for your buck is Mars Hydro lights with Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil.
Are you saying you mixed Coco & LOS together ? If so, I never heard of anyone doing that yet. Not sure how you could pH your nutes correctly with it mixed. But your plants look fine so it must be working.
Thing with Coco is you want to feed everyday. Even twice per day. When you feed in Coco you also push air to the roots & your plants grow faster. Coco was too much work for me to keep up with so I'm staying with soil.

Yeah always good to know more UK growers and some that actually know what they are doing lmao, I rarely come across good weed these days in the UK, Alot of Mr know it alls but really know fuck alls Mr grow it is ace, he loves his live organic and has books etc. I switched literally because I felt the live organic nutrients I had wasn't doing enough, I wanted gaia green but can't get in the UK so was using Dr forest, I didn't feel as though my photos and autos was at full potential so decided to switch to ionic, which are OK, but AN has big reputation so I thought Id switch to them. I decided to mix everything together and use as my medium like that for my brain came up with, well, what harm can it do so far, it has paid off, I have short plants, all of em, I've made em like that, they are all super healthy with huge stems and the branches are thick on all my plants even my super dwarfed tangerine dream which is dwarfed due to zinc deficiency, it suffered the most but is still chugging along lol.. I have X1 Mars hydro ts1000 100win a 2x2 a phlizon 245w output blurple in a 2x2... Then I have a phlizon 200w and 100w output in my 4x4 over 3 bubble bomb strains that are on day 22 of flower... Oh aswell, I've found with my mix aswell, I can't feed everyday, I tried few week ago, cos of how I've amended my coco and its acting as soil in a way, highly easy to over water, which I've just cleared root rot from my watermelon zkittles which is now doing amazing surprisingly, I used cannazym, it worked like a charm. So yeah, every other day is feeding for me. I may also try a cheaper feed for next time and Defo interested in trying out different mediums aswell as I just honestly got lucky I think with what I've done with my medium

Hey Buds hope your having a good day my friend.
You are semi correct :Namaste: although I'm Irish I live in Ontario now.
Still looking at snow here, yeiks.
Good morning @710Gardenuk welcome to 420magazine. :welcome:
We have a ton of your wonderfull neighbors here already.
Your lady looks pretty good.
If you get a chance start a journal so we can follow all the action and help if needed.

As far as your grow goes things look healthy but I'll give you a couple tips.
Put calmag in your nutrient mix first every time.
Mix and let sit 10 minutes.
Then add nutrients according to the schedule.
Then set ph to 5.8 exactly every time.
Then feed until runoff every day.
Always feed never plain water.
As buds mentioned feeding those nutrients will cost you a bit more in the end.
Cheapest Coco nutrients I've found is GH floral trio.
Cheep and strong.
Hey @Paul Squiggle :ciao: hope everything is going good today , just wondering your opinion on avaliable nutrients in your neck of the woods?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Stay safe
Bill

Hi Bill, I'm Defo gunna start one, as will be really good to have one tbh, all I do atm is input things in my calender on my phone. Definately gunna put the cqlmag in first, I've actually been dojng that last, didn't think there was an order but obvs ill be doing that, the nutrients I don't mind the price too much, but I will be looking at different ones and a better price range, so many to choose from, so many with high credibility lol

^^this^^
So thanks for saying it buds, I do the same I never follow the schedule... The plant will show what I need and i adjust to it's needs. The chart/feeding schedules dont take into consideration size of plant, nutrient uptake, or anything....just flush if to much lol

EDIT- Im a soil grower so I know what I do cannot be applied to hydro or coco grows.
