New tent

Hi guys,i have just bought a 5ft x 2ft grow tent,question is how many plants do you think i can grow at one time please

None if you don't put at least a light in that tent .

Sorry... Im new but I think you will find that answer largely gets determined by everything else... How big do you want? How many? Light? Scrog or sog or ? Growing medium? And so forth...

As a new grower myself I am truly overwhelmed.

My guessestion would be to start small and slow... And grow what you want / need.

Really depends on your growing style. I would think 2 or 3 plants in 5 or 7 gallon pots would do.

thanks for your reply,at the moment ive got 2 plants that are about 2 weeks old coming on nicely,they will be going into 5 gallon buckets,so i might bring on a 3rd and see how it goes ,in the past i have grown in my greenhouse but that can be only done in the summer months.

I agree. I grow in 5 gal dwc and i would probably do 2 big plants in a scrog or 3 slightly smaller plants.

Sorry don't meen to thread jack here. But Lazarus we started on a 5g bucket and had lots of ph fluctuations.
Some folks told us to get a bigger res, more water more stable ph.

Is this necessarily correct, do you have any problems with the ph if the bucket gets to about 3gal or so?

I havent had any problems. PH Perfect nutes, rez changes once a week, ph'd water top offs... Never had any problems. I originally had a 20 gallon rubbermaid tote but it was too flimsy in my opinion so i switched to 5 gal buckets. At the end of veg into flower i can only put 3 1/2 gallons in at rez change and they drink about a gallon a day. So it gets down to 2- 2 1/2 gallons and ive never had any ph problems.

Wow, we did but we weren't using a ph balanced line of nutes either.
