Alright im wanting to grow for my first time. I know basically nothing about how to grow and Im looking forward to having all my questions here. This seems like a great forum and a great place for people like me to learn. Im looking for a simple worded grow plan from someone that will tell me the very beginning basics of growing. Thanks and happy to be apart of the community.
 
I am also a new grower. Do yourself a huge favor and spend some time reading on this site. Read the journals, the FAQ's, etc. Learn about the equipment. Use the search feature to see if you can find the answer to a question. Get a good understanding of what you need to know before you buy anything. Also pick up the book "Medical Marijuana Grower's Bible" (Amazon). Read it cover to cover. With a solid foundation of knowledge your success rate will be much higher than if you try to learn as you go. Don't be afraid to ask questions but see if you can find the answer yourself first. Chances are it has been asked many times already. For your first grow, keep it small and simple.
 
Welcome and "What he said " You can't go wrong with that advice ! Decide what growing medium your gonna use , are you going for hydro or dirt ? Than decide what area you have to grow in. What size area do you have so you'll know what size and type of lights to get. How much money do you want to invest ? That will determine what type of lighting cfl or hps you can afford . This is a great site to learn from, anyone who follows the basic guidlines that can be learned here will be able to grow what the type of weed that would cost you up to 400 bucks an oz. Almost free !! :peace:
 
You have certainly been given great advice in the above posts!

READING and KNOWLEDGE are very important keys to success.

SOIL growing is a little easier but HYDRO is much much faster and if you got to learn from scratch, I highly recommend a good DWC or Deep Water Culture system.

I looked on amazon and there are like 5 books that come up when I type in "Medical Marijuana Grower's Bible". Is there one book that is better than the others?
