New growth or male pre-flower?

5 n half weeks old in soil, kinda small, I think the bark in the soil had created a bonsai effect. I repotted in fresh soil without bark and topped it about a week ago. As I'm a noob I'm not sure if that is new growth at the top or a male preflower? Any help would be appreciated

Looks like new growth to me.

Yes it does look small for 5weeks.

But it does look healthy.

Hopefully she will start to shoot up now.

Thank you for taking time to reply DukeO. Glad to hear it looks healthy! I may have stressed it early on and think that has contributed to the size.

I see 2 pistils and no sacks.. Keeping my fingers crossed..but it indicates a girl to me. My girls did start just like that.

That's is definitely NOT a male pre-flower, rest assured, it's a girl and I hope it remains so
