New grower, Saskatchewan

Hello all! New grower here, just got my first seeds from CK I’m pretty excited, have a 5x5 mammoth pro150 tent, led light , fans, thermometer/ humidity stat, no charcoal exhaust as I don’t care about the smell, instead a 8” exhaust fan in the top vent of tent, have been testing and can only get 20% humidity atm (very dry here and cold) so I plan to buy a warm mist humidifier before the seeds go into soil in the tent, about to start germination, have my soil in my tent getting warm and also got the soil mixed up nice and damp, I have soil from my local hydro shop and got some nutes but have no plan to use till I learn more about them, seems none for a month then 1/2 to1/4 of the recommended max is more then enough.

I’m just excited to be here and start learning from all of you experienced growers, I’ve been reading so much on here lately, And I’m amazed at how much I need to learn!

Hello again, So THANK YOU CROP KING first off.
I started 9 seeds 100% germination
They spent 14 hrs in spring water, all sunk but 1 then 48hrs in wet paper towel and in my flower tent in the dark with a mini heater keeping room 85f and 45% humidity the blue cookies I left in the towels for an extra 12 hrs

Couple questions

My (jh#3)Jack Herer came up with his helmet on still should I just let it fall off naturally or bump it off myself?

My WW#1 has grown about 1.5” already, I have been adding soil as he grows and Was going to keep doing that till the cup is full? Or just let the soil sit 1.5” low on the cups and let them grow.


As I do this I wonder if I should just start a grow journal lol

I’m reading through your SOG 2018 journal, is there a way to just search your posts in the thread.
Also been reading through stinky snit’s
(I think) that’s the name, I followed it, he’s running the same nutrient line that I have already started buying so That’s a good find for me to follow

Hey man Thx! I’ve seen a lot of your posts around here I’ll have to do some reading of your journals also.

And Pennywise, yep that’s the name...that’s cool, I’ve liked what I’ve read so far, this is also giving me an idea of how a journal needs to be to get attention and help by stumbling through all these journals.
